AMERICAN FIREWOOD CO

Agreed to a Saturday delivery. It was ultimately delivered on the following Thursday. No contact, no notice, nothing until the Thursday. The firewood was stacked properly.

They are okay on price and everything. There was one little problem though. They took about two months to deposit my check.

Scheduled a pickup for a Saturday afternoon and the company said they would be there by 12:00 noon. Called multiple times without a response. On the Monday after I finally got in touch with the company and they guaranteed delivery by 3:00 pm Wednesday. 
Again waited around and had to call the company at about 3:30pm Wednesday afternoon. The company was running late and showed up around 5:00 pm. 
After another day of waiting on them, when they got to the location they refused to stack the wood on a back porch because there were "too many stairs" after I had specifically asked if stacking the wood on a porch with stairs was a problem and they indicated no.
They said a few stairs were fine but I had "too many stairs"
They decided to stack the wood on the ground outside of my house and when I ask for a discount since they a) made me wait around for them and waste time on two separate occasions and b) would not stack the wood where I requested it they said no. 
I  got frustrated and told them they could take their service elsewhere and that I did not want the wood anymore.

Delivery and all were good, however wood was wet and green... hard to burn.

Discussed on the phone the price, type and size of the firewood.  Emailed later and reminded them of Angie's List 10% discount.  They scheduled a delivery date and time.  They called and said they were a little late, due to changing trucks for maintenance.  The delivery went well.  The wood was as promised. The Angie's list discount was applied.  I purchased 1/2 cord of seasoned oak firewood, delivered and stacked.

I wanted the firewood for the winter. I assumed it would be seasoned. Unfortunately, most is still wet and will not burn. I did not ask for seasoned wood, but assumed that it it would be ready to use.

Great. They were on time and stacked the wood neatly for me.

Went without incident.

I called and left a message one evening. The next morning a guy from American Firewood called me back. He said he could deliver the wood on Saturday of that same week. On Saturday, two guys showed up with a truck and stacked the wood (we got a half cord) right where we asked. The wood is chopped into good size pieces (not too big, not too small) and burns well.

Very friendly on the phone. Delivered the wood on time, stacked it nicely.

PERSONNEL WERE EXCELLENT. THEY SHOWED UP AT THE AGREED TIME. THE WOOD WAS STACKED NEATLY AND ALL WASTE WAS CLEANED UP. THEY WERE CAREFUL WITH THE LAWN AND HOUSE SINCE THEY HAD TO DELIVER THE FIREWOOD TO THE BACK OF MY HOME. PRICE WAS VERY FAIR CONSIDERING THE QUALITY OF THE LABOR AND WOOD. I WOULD RECOMMEND AMERICAN FIREWOOD COMPANY ANYTIME.
