 + -1 moreMargaret is prompt and pleasant, but her work is very unsatisfactory. I didnot realize how ugly the chair is until after she had left and I sat down across the room from it. I will not use her again and I will certainly not reccomend her service to anyone.
Description of Work: Had a small tufted-back swivel rocker recovered. It is one of a pair. Now it looks as though they are not a pair. Margaret made the skirt almost an inch longer. The back of the one Margaret recovered is almost an inch higher than the other chair. The contoured back does not meet the arms of the chair and the gap is wider on one side than the other. The seat base on which the seat cushion rests is pulled into a curve on one side. All in all, the newly recovered chair looks like a cheap imitation of the other chair. I am devastated.

 + -1 moreI heard about Margaret from a friend who had had her reupholster some furniture. Margaret was recommended by a decorator. I called Margaret to ask about making a slip cover for an old sofa that my cat had torn. She came right over to give me an estimate and tell me how much fabric to buy. When I had the fabric, she came back with a young man and a pick-up truck to take it to her shop. After about a week she called to say that it was finished and to set up a time to deliver it.
Description of Work: Margaret made a perfectly-fitting slip-cover for my sofa and eight individual cushions. It looks like a brand new sofa! you can't tell it's a slip-cover.
