I called Jerry prior to scheduling an appointment and we talked through what I wanted. He was able to get me a quote and order the parts for me before I even came up there. Once the appointment was scheduled I dropped off the vehicle for the day. Once done they called me and I am impressed with their work!! They were fair, fast and KIND. The final price was about $30 more than the quote but that was because I added on one more thing. I have tried other tire companies in town...especially one just down the street from Univeristy Tire and I will never go anywhere else! I'm a customer for life!

I like this business since the owner shook my hand and introduced himself. I appreciated that as it seems rare today. I have many reasons why I am rating this business so highly: I am allergic to rubber and I could not wait in the building where all of the tires are. I did not mind waiting outside. Nonetheless, the owner understood this and cared. He told me that in the future, they could pick up my car and bring it back to my home because of my allergy. I had been driving back and forth from Athens GA to Charleston SC since my mother passed away. I had purchased new tires in Charleston at Costco as this was convenient for me. On one of my return trips I had a leak in a tire but did not have time to get to the closest Costco in Gwinnett, GA. The tires were filled with nitrogen and University Tire has nitrogen so I called them for a refill. It cost about 20.00 for them to patch the tire and refill with nitrogen. I was not expecting the repair to be low so I was happy. Thank you University Tire!

They have knowledgeable and helpful staff. In addition, they have clean and comfortable waiting room, and well-maintained, clean restroom. I do not remember the amount they charged me, but their prices are in line and reasonable.
