LIfe long customer here. We took our car in for a routine check and they told us there is wear on the tires down to the steel and the tires are not covered by the warranty of 55,000 miles because the wear is uneven and appears to be because of an alignment. We bought all 4 tires under warranty at Porterfield on Mitchell Bridge Road, less than 40,000 miles ago. Our car has been in their shop twice in 10 months, specifically for tires. Not once were we told there was uneven wear, or that the car was out of alignment. It hasn't driven like it's out of alignment, and we were told the wear can't really be seen until it's up in the air. So either 1) the tires are defected and wear out unevenly or 2) it had uneven wear the whole time and they never caught it or 3) they are lying and there is no wear. Under all three possibilities they should replace our tires for free, as promised by the warranty.

It went well. They asked me to come back Saturday morning, I did and the work was done in about an hour.

I was extremely pleased with the price as well as the quality of the tire! This company is top notch when it comes to customer service! I would send anyone there. They even helped me out when I was in a tight spot and there was only 5 minutes left in their work day - they stayed late and made sure I was able to get back on the road again!

They are excellent. They are very knowledgeable.

I asked for a specific set of tires and they were installed in a reasonable amount of time.  I asked for a wheel alignment, but one was not performed.  It doesn't appear that it was necessary.  They are not a Michelin authorized retailer, so I wasn't able to get a rebate I saw advertised elsewhere.  I use this shop because they seem honest, and they have done the best job of any place I have tried with keeping the steering wheel included in an alignment.
