They're great! They do great work and we've been very fortunate to find them. We'll definitely stay with them! It's a very positive experience and they're very helpful. Can't say enough great things about them!

LoCleaning just wasn't very thorough. They did gimmicks like folding my toilet paper and placing a sticker on it. But the stuff I really cared about, like a thoroughly cleaned shower and toilet and proper vacuuming/mopping/dusting just didn't happen.
Smaller things: On one visit, I left they key under the mat at the back door, gave detailed instructions. For some reason, maid thought the key under the mat right next to the back door was for the front door (obviously was for back door). She couldn't open it and instead of them calling me, she just left. Had to call and ask them to come back and do their job a few days later.
Overall, I think their maids are just not that good and don't really know how to PROPERLY clean. Stopped using them after maybe 4-5 times.

There was a three person crew that came. They did a good job. The house was cleaned well. The price from what I consider was very low.

It should take 3 1/2 - 4 hrs. to clean my home. The 4-5 different individuals I went through with Merry Maids in 7 months, would start out taking approx. 3 hours to clean, then after about 3 weeks some would be done in approx. 1 1/2 - 2 hrs. At times, I never even heard the water being turned on!! Several individuals would leave without informing me, so I was unable to discuss my dissatisfaction with their work until 2 weeks later. I wanted to work with the individual before complaining to mgmt. I would have to tell them to dust not only the tables, but items on the tables (i.e. lamps, clocks, etc.). One incident happened when the cleaning persons vacuum cleaner belt was broken, and rather than her asking to use MY vacuum cleaner, she just used her broken vacuum cleaner that picked up NOTHING! Every time my home was cleaned, there was little effort put forth. It seemed as if it was a contest to see how fast they could get in and get out. I complained several times to office staff, then eventually complained to the owner, who made an apt. to come to my home and discuss the situation with me, but he came early and was gone before I returned home (which was in time for the scheduled appointment). There has been NO follow-up from management or the owner as to my satisfaction/dissatisfaction. I was told when I signed up for this service that there would be "surprise" visits to see what quality of work was being done. I have NEVER received one of those visits! You would think in this day and time that people would work to keep your business. Obviously mine was not that important to them and as of this writing I have cancelled my service with Merry Maids!!

Only one person came, so it took nearly four hours, but she was very thorough. A supervisor came at the end to check on her work.

Originally when I inquired about the service, the guy on the phone stated that they couldn't price it without seeing it. I thought for sure that was just a way for them to get into my home for a high pressure sales pitch, but it was nothing like I expected. The lady came to my home-on-time-and spent about 15 minutes walking through. She explained to me what I should expect in each room and then gave me a written estimate. I was disappointed to find out that they don't clean dishes or do laundry. They also don't do windows, unless I pay extra for them. When I asked her about the price, I told her it seemed a little high. She explained that their services would run higher than independent cleaners because they throughly screen and drug test their employees regularly. She also stated that all of their employees were bonded and insured. I was satisfied with her explanation and scheduled the cleaning. They got me in the next day, which made me very happy. I was really impressed with the way the girl came in and got right to work. She was in and out and didn't compromise the quality. She started in my master bathroom and worked through my loft effortlessly; she made cleaning look so easy. She did everything that the sales rep told me she would do. They even sent a supervisor out to check her work.
