First this review is long overdue. Joe helped us sell our house this past summer and we were very impressed with Joe’s integrity, professionalism and personality. Joe helped us identify what repairs and improvements would help us get top price and sell the house quickly. After completing the work, we listed the house and had an offer within 2 weeks at a very good price. Joe stayed on top of the transaction through closing arranging for a few minor that turned up in the inspection. It was great not having to worry about arranging for the repairs since we had already moved out. I strongly recommend Joe. Joe holds himself to a very high standard and truly works for you. I have sold and bought several houses over the years and Joe is by far the best agent I have ever worked with. Steph, Joes associate, is great and is pleasure to work with as well.

The experience was great. He’s well informed of the area because he lives here for almost 25 years. He knows all the different parts of town. He’s patient as far as going through selling us a bunch of different kind of houses because originally we were not sure what kind of home we wanted. I personally would spend in a private condo or right kind of house. He pushes towards a house and wanted to find it for ourselves. It was just super relaxed like very willing to work with.

We interviewed several agents first, and selected Joe.  He was very professional and came to the interview well prepared.  He and his assistant, Stephanie, were always prompt about answering any of our questions throughout this process.  Joe worked very hard and our home sold quickly.  All though the process and right up to the closings, Joe made things easy.  We highly recommend him as an agent.

Joe advertised our house with several multiple listing services, on Zillow, and other websites. When we met with Joe, he fully explained the contract we signed with him, his stand if various potential ethical issues cropped up (eg, he would clearly state to potential buyers that he was representing only the seller; if he had a client that was interested in our house, he would strongly recommend that they find a buyer's agent, etc.),  and the ways he would get the word out about our house. He suggested things we could do to make the house more presentable, he gave potential buyers a list of the specifics about the house and also highlighted the things that made it unique (eg, energy-saving aspects, building techniques). We had an offer within a week and Joe advised us through every step of the offer/counteroffer process, always looking out for our best interests. He made sure the buyer was qualified, continually checked that each milestone in the process was met, and made sure everything was set for closing. 
Joe is a very personable guy, knows the Athens area inside & out, and networks well among the appraisers, attorneys, contractors, inspectors, and anyone else who might be useful in helping a client buy or sell a house. He's just been named the #1 individual selling agent with the agency he's with: Keller Williams Greater Athens. Where Joe really shined for us, besides making sure the word got out about our listing, was during the offer/counteroffer process. He advised us well on where he thought we could stand firm and where we might want to back off. We really appreciated his experience there.
We are in Oconee County now & will use Joe again the next time we buy or sell a house.
