Migel helped me choose a fabric that was suitable for a very old family heirloom sofa and three side chairs. Although he offered to order the fabric himself, he also gave me the names of other businesses where I might find the same or equally suitable fabric at a lower price. His fees included the labor and all of the "supplies," i.e., cording, decorative upholstery tacks, lining, etc., as well as the labor. I provided the fabric, which I purchased from another business. We were quite nervous about having the sofa recovered since it had been so expensive and was so old. It is absolutely beautiful! Every detail from the original upholstery is exactly the same. He also tightened one of the arms which had become loose over the years. We could not be more pleased. Everyone who has seen this sofa loves it and asks who did the upholstery work for us. We are happy to recommend Upholstery by Migel and have several other pieces which we are going to have Migel recover.
