Tony was very professional and knowledgable. He was well dressed and punctual. I felt like he had a good grasp of offering custom plant suggestions; other estimates that I received felt more like generic landscaping plans. The drawbacks were that his first estimate far exceeded the budget that I had communicated. I asked for a revised one and he was able to scale it back. Also, I wanted some simple terraces, stairs, and vegetable beds but stonework isn't in the budget so I asked for quotes using timbers. The response was that they don't do wooden hardscapes because they tend to rot. I understand that, but it seems odd that a landscaping company won't accommodate a specific request like that when it's what my budget allows. Instead, he suggested mulch paths up the hill, which I considered, but that seems like it would be far more maintenance than the timbers I asked for. It also took over a week after our meeting before I received the estimate. He did not provide any drawings, but neither did his competition. I guess I can see why, because then someone could easily just hand it to another landscaper or go do the work themselves without hiring him. I may use still him for the landscaping portion if I can find someone else to do the timber work. If you're looking for stone work or pavers and plantings and have a decent budget to work with, I would consider using this company.

We liked Yard Post. Their price may be a little high.

We have used The Yard for many years for lawn and shrub maintenance as well as chemical service. They have always answered questions about what needs to be done and have addressed any issues quickly and completely.

He is very responsive and very reliable. Despite many landscapers contacting me over the years, I have remained with him. I have been using their services since 1988. They are competitively priced. The owner is well educated and knowledgable in his trade.

They did a fine job. They are very easy to work with. If I need something extra done they will take care of it.

They show up and do the work that is needed to be done. They are not a very communicative company. The few times that I have came across one of their personnel they have not spoken English but that is the norm in this area.

They are very good. We have used them for years. They always get back with us and if we have an issue they will take care of it immediately. They are easy to communicate with.

This is a great company. They are very reliable.

The cost depends on what you want them to do. The beauty of working with Yard Post is that you can change what you want from week to week or month to month i.e. in the summer they come weekly, mowing glass, blowing, etc. In the winter they come monthly, i.e. blowing leaves and other debris. Occasionally we will ask for additional services such as fertilizing the lawn or bushes, pruning, etc. You pay according to what you want done

I have been using them for two or three years. They do an excellent job. They are very responsive to any issues or problems I may have, and they take care of them right away.

They sent out a nice young lady initially to look over the job and estimate the ongoing cost. And she came back once when I requested some ideas. But I'm not sure I ever received them. But other than that, the account appeared to be pretty much on auto pilot. I switched to a young man trying to survive a period of unemployment - but he has returned to work so I will be looking for a replacement. I would consider Yard Post again - though it would be somewhat by default. What's likely wrong is that I want more attention and enthusiasm than I am willing to pay for!!!

We continue to have regular service form them. The cost varies by what service they do. As much as anything, I continue to use them because their pricing is a la carte. They customize things to my needs. I will continue to use them in the future.

I really like that they do come out once a week, especially in the Fall because then our lawn is easier to maintain. They will do any small extra services at a charge.

I used Yard Post for landscaping & lawn maintenance. They provided very poor, substandard service, often charging for services that they did not perform. They tried to charge me for 84 bales of pine straw, when my property only required 48 bales. They often charged me for weed treatments & shrub disease/insect control that was not performed, charged for 3-gallon plants, when they only put in 1-gallon plants. Spent nearly $2000 on a new flower bed, almost half of the plants died and Yard Post refused to honor their warranty. They raised their prices without notifying me. The owner was often very defensive and rude. Yard Post has provided some of the most horrible customer service I have ever encountered. Overall, my experience with Yard Post was very costly and very disappointing. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

Greg Peters sent me an estimate with options to choose from. I discussed the options over the phone and asked him to make a few changes. He did and, before I knew it, his crew was at my house. The did the work faster than I anticipated and it looks great.

Andre Theriot was wonderful to work with. He collaborated with me on several iterations of drawings, until we had just the right plan for our backyard. It was a bit tricky and somewhat unusual, because it was an area in front of a tennis court. Andre met me at a couple of nurseries to discuss and select plantings, as well as hardscape materials. His team was careful and thorough in both their demolition of the existing landscape and installation of the new. I would not hesitate to call on Andre and the Yard Post again!

Our backyard is beautiful! The Yard Post was a dream to work with- they treated us like family and cared for our yard like it was their own. We highly recommend the Yard Post. The yard post also does the spraying of our grass and they are fantastic.
