Personal Service and Top-Notch Workmanship We had Chris replace our existing flagstone patio with a new, beautiful Belgard patio. He also relandscaped around the new patio with 8’ tall Emerald Green Arborvitae as a privacy screen in place of some overgrown (and very hard to remove) existing shrubs. His team completed the work quickly and did a wonderful job. Chris takes a personal interest and makes sure every detail is attended to. We have hired Chris for other projects and are always very pleased with his work.

We were extremely satisfied in every respect. In fact, Chris exceeded expectations. He was professional, friendly, on time, and a pleasure to do business with. He clearly communicated everything he was going to do, and kept us apprised of his schedule. He even finished the job earlier than projected. Chris came out and provide a quote within a day of being contacted. He was a little behind with all the rain we had, but he kept in constant communication and as soon as the ground was dry, he was there and completed the job in less than a day.

Chris & Mark are a great team! They treat our lawn like their own and it has never looked better. Chris has even knocked on the door to let me know about a wasp's nest since he knows we have kids. Would recommend this company every time.

I have used Chris and Mark for many years (5-10) and I've had nothing but good service. They are good guys whom I trust completely. They are honest and have helped me with many areas of my lawn maintenance. Besides mowing and edging, they do my annual yard clean up, trimming all the shrubbery and putting down pinestraw. They do the same for several in my neighborhood and I've heard no complaints. I am extremely picky and I would recommend them to anyone. I also think they are very fair with prices. Price below is monthly. Of course more for my annual but fair. And they do it they way I want it!!

We have a fescue lawn front and back, totaling about 5000 square feet of grass. For the past 15 years, every October we have tried to get various lawn and/or landscaping services to properly aerate and over-seed our lawn. We were never pleased with the results. This year we used the guys at Structured Lawn Maintenance (Chris and Mark) and could not be more pleased. They worked with us to make sure the soil was at the right moisture content needed for an optimal core aeration. Chris and Mark went over the lawn twice with the coring machine and then put down seed exactly where it was needed, spending extra attention on the "hard-to-grow" sections of our lawn. They also put 20 bags of top soil where it was needed. Communications with Chris have been easy with calls and texts promptly returned. Their work ethic is what you hope for in a contractor. We also liked the fact that they told us what they could do and couldn't do. Pricing for the aeration and over-seeding was where we expected it to be since we also asked them to add 20 bags of top soil, and prepare the lawn (cut, blow, etc). We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for lawn-related services. If Chris and Mark perform the services being requested, we would expect the client to be very satisfied with the results.

These guys are great! We moved into our new home and tried to care for the lawn ourselves. By the time we finally called, our yard and weeds were getting pretty messy. The guys came in and fixed all of our problems. Our yard has never looked so good. Chris is responsive, and checks in to make sure we are satisfied. I feel like he's an old friend! I give them the highest of recommendations!!

I hired them for 14 months for lawn moving, weed removal, bush trimming for my VERY SMALL LOT - about 3,000 square feet. They charged me VERY HIGH price of $140 just for lawn mowing (only for 3,000 Sq Ft.)... For removing weeds by chemicals only and for bush trimming they charged me ADDITIONAL $50... All the money they demanded and I PAID IN ADVANCE of the work to be done. (basically they did not trust their customers). *** Even after paying this VERY HIGH PRICE IN ADVANCE of the work to be done, my lawn looked UGLY,... WEEDS REMAINED GREW to about two feet high,.... bushes were not trimmed. *** After tolerating their - **Don't Care Attitude towards Customer** - for 14 months, I told them, I didn't need their service. Not only, I would not hire them, nor would I recommend to my friends. Please, those who are reading my review, DO NOT HIRE THEM.

Excellent work, excellent customer care and interaction. Chris is the best.

We live a busy life with little time to think about our lawn. Chris is fantastic about helping us keep it up, and not just with his regular service. He will call to remind me to water, and suggest tips to keep our lawn in great shape. He has also referred other companies to us when there was something that was out of his scope and those have been excellent as well. He treats our yard like it's his yard and we can't ask for much more than that. Definitely recommend!

The folks at Structured Lawn Maintenance have been managing all of my landscaping needs for several years now. They do everything from weekly maintenance, to big front and backyard clean-up jobs. I will be using them for tree removal services this year as well. Other companies get sloppy and need reminding from time to time (I am very picky), but I'm pleased to say, I've never had to do that and in fact, I've been extremely happy with everything they've done for me!

They were great! The big cleanup job involved cutting down a lot of weeds that were growing up my exterior house walls, trimming down lots of bushes, laying down new pine straw, and overall cleaning up the yard. My house looked much neater afterwards, big thanks to Chris and Mark! Weekly lawn mowing is efficient and they do a tidy job. Communicating with Chris to handle scheduling/timing and payments is also very easy.

We've been using Structured Lawns for years. Chris and Mark are down to earth and do a great job. We recently purchased a new home and asked Structured Lawns to assess what needed to be done on this larger lot. They talked us through all their suggestions and were able to make the property really shine in short order. We've received several compliments from our new neighbors. The icing on the cake was that even though our new lawn is much bigger, the price did not go up dramatically. In another example, we also asked Chris and Mark to get the yard at our old home ready to sell. We literally received twelve offers on our home in the first 24 hours it was listed. That's a great testament to the "curb appeal" the Structured Lawn team brings to the table. We will continue to call on Chris and Mark.

They are very organized in their work and offer a personal service. While others gave me price and recommendation of what to do by phone without looking at the work to be done, they met with me and explained what they would do and what I would need to do to be successful. They kept me informed at all time, answered all my questions and were very transparent with their work.

Chris and Mark, the owners of the company, perform all the work. This is a case of getting what you pay for. They are very pleasant and knowledgeable guys who will go over all the options with you. They do high quality work and are easy to work with. You pay a little more than average, but I think the overall value is outstanding.

I have has Chris for several months now and am very pleased with the results. He addressed the extreme thatch I had with aeration and now has kept the grass at a great height. I also have a lot of bushes and they look great and professionally done. Chris communicates often to his customers to see if his work is meeting his customers expectations. I highly recommend giving Chris a go if you are looking for monthly maintenance who shows up as scheduled every week. I have used at least 5 other lawn services and by far I am most pleased with Structured Lawn Maintenance.

Chris has done our lawn maintenance for two years and does a wonderful job!  Lets me know if something needs to be addressed and when it's time for specific seeding etc...  Always responds quickly to phone calls/texts.  Highly recommend. 

Chris and Mark were great. They were very professional and did an excellent job - my yard looks great! Will definitely use them again. 

Chris at Structured Lawns has been absolutely amazing! He kept my rental property's lawn and landscaping in tip-top shape for the past two years, saving me from those "nasty-grams" from the HOA. He also consulted with me when I went to put my house on the market, and helped get my lawn and landscaping in great condition, adding to the curb appeal. He provided great customer service, and ket in touch with me each season to let me know what needed to be done (great since I live in Virginia and was not able to view my property on a regular basis.) I am so fortunate to have found Chris and truly appreciate everything he has done to keep my property looking great!

We wanted to put our house up for sale, but needed some help getting the yard whipped into shape.  Chris and Mark came quickly to the rescue -- and every week thereafter -- and turned our yard into the prize of the neighborhood.  Their weekly lawn service included mowing, edging, and clean-up.  Our yard looks sharp and clean.  In addition, Chris and Mark are great guys and are very pleasant to chat with.  Their business is local and friendly and has been around for a number of years.  I would highly recommend their lawn care service.

I found structured lawn maintenance on Angie's list. I contacted Chris to come out and do some core aeration for us. The first thing by to the survey and gave us a quote. Quote process was done punctually and with great communication. Over the phone we coordinate a time for Chris and his guy to come out and do the work. He was very flexible and his availability and work with us to make sure that we had a good time frame that work for everyone. The work was completed as expected and with professionalism. We would definitely use Chris structured want maintenance again.
