The final product was amazing! Bobby Parks paid attention to detail, completed the project on time, and gave us a perfect final product. Our porch is the favorite part of our home! Our home has already been appraised significantly higher because of the porch and everyone in our neighborhood is attempting to replicate our porch.

Bobby Parks of Peachtree Decks and Porches was one of four contractors we interviewed for this project. We were 100% pleased and would hire him again without hesitation. His crew was wonderful. They were always on time, considerate of our direction regarding the project and a pleasure to have working at our home. Bobby is extremely easy to work with and he gives you room to incorporate your own ideas. Together we developed a beautiful addition to our home and had a great time in the process. Bobby also has clout in his industry and experience that we could not find in other deck contractors. If you're thinking about adding a screen porch, don't give it another thought. We live outside now!
Bobby also recommended a supplier/contractor for stonework and we were just as happy with their services. We added stone stairs, a stone patio below the porch and deck, and a fire pit.

`The owner, Bobby Parks, is pleasant to deal with.  He met with us and listened to what we wanted to do and provided examples of similar projects.  Of the companies that we interviewed Peachtree Decks and Porches tried to follow what we wanted closely and didn't try to steer us in other directions - unless we specifically asked for ideas or opinions.  I really like the design and the finished product.  We had an issue with one of the electrical contractors doing sub-par work - but when we brought it up - a more competent electrician was brought in and the issue resolved.

Peachtree Decks and Porches were wonderful to work with. Ptree Decks and Porches does first class work, they put pride and attention to detail in every step.
We felt confident with Ptree Decks and Porches the moment we met Bobby the owner. The crew was fast, efficient, on time, great on communication and a pleasure to have around.
I highly recommend Ptree Decks and Porches for the best in quality, vision and craftsmanship.

We want begin with Bobby Parks, owner. He came by
the house and spent a lot of time listening to what we had in mind. He gave some
very beneficial and unique suggestions on the construction of the porch and
deck, showed us many examples of work his company has done and was personable
and reassuring. This was a big project for us and we wanted a level of confidence that the porch would
suit our needs and be an asset to our property. Bobby answered all our questions, sometimes the same ones on different occasions, but he was always happy to oblige.
When we needed assistance in deciding on flooring, we visited his office to see examples of materials to help us make our decisions.

Once the construction began the crew couldn't have
been more professional and pleasant. They showed up every day, weather
permitting and on time. The level of expertise and quality is really excellent.
We had a couple of very minor snags with the door and Bobby and David made sure they were
addressed.
The porch is wonderful and really exceeded our expectations. We would use them again and highly recommend
Peachtree Decks and Porches.

From start to finish this was a top notch experience. Bobby took the time to walk us through options, look at different costs, and ultimately determine the best approach for our project. His expertise was invaluable navigating the various options and making decisions on the fly as things arose. However, he also listened to our suggestions and provided thoughtful insight based on our needs. The end product was nothing short of astounding. An aesthetically beautiful piece of architecture that we will enjoy for the next 30 years! Thank you!

We bought a new hot tub for the terrace level patio. Bobby Parks designed an amazing plan for this family area complete with platform and support for the hot tub, outside lighting, fans and screened in area. The main level deck was completely replaced and enlarged and Bobby made several suggestions we were very pleased with including deck railing and lighting. Bobby came up with several ideas to choose from and was extremely helpful from beginning to end and so easy to work with. The Peachtree Decks crews were just as pleasant to work with. They arrived on schedule, were easy to communicate with and they took time to answer any questions we had. The project came in on budget and on schedule. We feel fortunate to have found and worked with Peachtree Decks. We love our new deck and terrace level outdoor space.

It started off very slow but came out good at the end. We agreed upon a certain date and when that date came and went without a call ,we emailed and called with a very delayed response when they already had a large chunk of our money for deposit. We were fine with a delay due to weather and other problems, just wanted to be updated on this when we were expecting them to start. We were fairly compensated for the delayed start! The work done was very good quality and any problems along the way were dealt with professionally. We are very happy with our new deck and screened in porch with EZ Breeze windows and gas fireplace! A beautiful 3 season room for our home!
Bobby is very knowledgable and experienced in decks and porches and has great ideas to personalize your space.
The only advice I would give if you use them is make sure you ask them to stay off your grass as much as possible. All the lumber and construction paired with all the rain, ruined the grass and we had to get our entire backyard re-sodded.

I cannot say enough good things about them. I like pretty much everything about them. They gave me a better deck and porch that I was not even expecting, and they built it in a timely manner. They cleaned up after themselves. They made sure everything was right. You name it, they did it. I would tell other members that they do what they say they are going to do, and they do it better than you expect them to.

Their work was excellent. It came out better than what I had expected which is rare when it actually occurs. It was very well built and it looked very nice. There was a lot of attention given to the details.

I thought they were outstanding when it came to the professionalism of it, I didn't feel like they were cutting corners in anyway. The final product was actually quite good. The only issue I had was, after the deck was complete, the finishing up took longer than I would have liked. They had of course moved on to the next job, getting them to come back was more like a 4-6 week wait. Other than that I was and still am very happy with out new deck. I have recommended them to friends who have also used them.

We couldn't be happier with the finished product! We decided we didn't want to use pressure treated lumber for our new deck because we weren't likely to maintain it adequately. We thought about using a composite, but had heard bad things about it. We got estimates from a few contractors who recommended Trex Transcend, a new PVC capped product, but they each had limited experience working with any alternative decking materials so couldn't advise as to the pros and cons of the various products on the market. I did some online research and found Bobby Parks posting on several decking blogs and I could tell he was quite the expert. I invited him to bid on the project and he came at the appointed time, took measurements and we discussed some ideas. One important thing for us was to keep our wild bird feeders, but integrate the main feeder into the deck so it would look and function better. Back at his office Bobby worked up a computer-assisted design for our new deck, which we met with him to review. We made some design tweaks on the spot, basically to make the deck larger, and settled in on the final plan. Much to our delight, Bobby's quote was in the same ballpark as the other contractors' even though his design was much more intricate, and we were also getting his expertise and the benefit of his connections and good reputation in the industry. Work started on time and progressed quickly. The crew arrived every morning at 8am led by Michael - a very personable and capable guy. Michael and I communicated daily about the progress and he was always there to answer questions or address concerns. Our goal was to have the new deck up before Thanksgiving and that goal was met. The painting and final touches didn't get done until after Thanksgiving, but we were still proud to show off our new deck to our guests. What happened with the bird feeder? Well, Michael notched out an opening in the rail cap to accomodate the pole and crafted a special platform to mount the pole. He had me stand there when he was mounting it to be sure it was the right height for me to reach. The painters painted the pole black so it now matches the black ballusters of the rail system and looks great. Michael also crafted a nice little box to cover the faucet that is located at the floor of the deck (we didn't want to relocate the faucet). All nice little touches that they just do because they take pride in their work and want it to be beautiful. We highly recommend Peachtree Decks and Porches to anyone who wants a quality product, excellent value and a fabulous experience. When Bobby came out for the estimate, he said our deck would make for great before and after pictures and he sure was right.

When selecting a deck company we researched a lot and received 5-6 bids. Peachtree was not the cheapest, though they were very competitive, but there was something about Bobby Parks that made us trust that he would do the project right. With respect to getting the quotes, we highly recommend that you be as specific as possible. Don't say you just want a composite deck, for example, but specify a brand as quality and pricing varies widely. We were very specific on what we wanted so as to properly compare prices. We could not be happier with Peachtree. They did exactly everything they said they would, only better than we imagined. Our project was complicated; rip down an old deck, build a new one with an enclosure. Extend our roof line and add plumbing. We needed a variance and they helped us with that. We expanded our porch and had a retaining wall installed. Thus, we needed plumbers, masons, electricians, roofers, painters and others. From the beginning, Bobby communicated well, gave us renderings of what the project would look like and kept working on it continuously. His crews, for the most part, were very professional and they seemed to enjoy the craftsmanship of their work. They handled scheduling for everyone. The project did take longer than we expected, so make sure if its a big project that you factor that in, but for us, it was worth the wait. A general word of caution is that if you have a driveway where product will be placed make sure you put down some plywood or other material. We did that for the dumpster for the demolition, which worked well, but one of the masonry folks accidentally scratched our driveway with a forklift. You can tell a lot about a company when something goes wrong. Peachtree worked with the masons to get the driveway repaired and there was never any question about whether it would get fixed. Bobby is very involved with the North American Deck and Rail Association and he has even brought some of the members from out of state in to see our project. It makes me feel good that he is proud of his work. We are too.
