Dropped off the vaccuum and was told I the tune-up would be done in 7 days and someone would contact me. No one ever called. When I called the store by telephone, you could tell that they were answering the phone and hanging up the call without saying anything. They finally answered in the afternoon and told me that my vaccuum needed a new brush ($40) and new wheels ($40). They also lied to me and told me they had left message and I know for a fact that's not true. When I said I did not want the work done, they became very pushy about it trying to make a sale. When they sensed I didn't want to have the work done and they told me the inner vaccuum ripped open (which I found hard to believe) and that they normally would have to charge me $15 to santize the vaccuum - but they were going to cut me a deal by not charging me. When I came to pick up my vaccuum the next day, it seems to me (although I cannnot prove it) that they replaced the outter bag from my unit with a very worn out one. The outter bag which holds the vaccuum cleaner bag had a big gash in it and was very worn (the fabric had pils). It looked like something that had been taken in and out of the car a lot and ours never leaves the house. I could not prove this, but I wish I had taken photos of our vaccuum before I had brought it in. I would warn any consumer not to drop your vaccuum off in these peoples hands - and if you do. Take a picture of your unit before you leave it with them. Get ready to be ripped off. When they tell you that you need a new roller and you say no, consider that they will put an old worn out part on your vaccuum so that they can show it to you when you arrive to pick up your unit. It had the odor of a scam, which is why I would never return.
