Patric came out, examined the tree and approved the likelihood of success to relocate the tree and its prognosis of outgrowing the area where it was presently planted (too close to the house, as we suspected). He also recoemmended that we wait until Fall when the tree would be more dormant. On Oct. 20 he and his crew arrived with a massive machine with large claws that slid through the dirt and clay like butter. Though a good deal of effort went into insuring that no piping would be damaged we inevitably did hit a sprinkler pipe which was easily and quickly repaired by him. The tree was relocated to an area only 20 feet away and we are very happy with the new location. We also had a little difficulty getting the tree ball relatively flush with the ground, but this to was resolved. The whole process took about three hours and we were very happy with every aspect of it. Native tree was very professional, accomodating and thorough. We highly recommend Native Tree and would be happy to use them again, especially in lieu of simply killing the tree and buying a new one.
