I trusted Macy’s, especially since I bought a top of the line mattress, a Sterns and Foster. The Macy's workers are bound by the policy’s of Sterns and Foster and Macy’s. They have no flexibility whatsoever to provide good customer service.
Description of Work: I purchased a mattress in September. After about six months, the mattress started to sag in the middle. It is sagging about ½ an inch. I was told that the policy is that the mattress would have to be sagging an inch and a half before they would do something about it. I am not sleeping comfortably. They told me to wait another 90 days and they would measure it again. I am furious about this policy.

The salesperson was hurried, made a mistake in my order which I found and had to go to the store to resolve. (He didn't order the number of pieces I requested.) I had to wait much longer than promised. On the delivery day, they cancelled at the last minute, the next available date for delivery being over a week later. This, AFTER, I had already waited an inordinate amount of time.
Description of Work: There was no work performed.

+ -1 moreTHIS WAS A WONDERFUL FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE, THE LADY WHO HELPED ME WAS EXTREMELY HELPFUL. SHE DETERMINED MY LIKES AND DISLIKES, AND EVERYTHING TURNED OUT JUST GREAT.
Description of Work: THE INTERIOR DESIGNER CAME OUT, AND HELPED ME CHOOSE PAINT COLORS, DRAPERIES, COMPLETE FURNITURE FOR THE LIVING ROOM INCLUDING LAMPS, AND OTHER ACCESSORIES.
