 + -1 moreAfter a day or so of waiting to get a call back. I called Kirk but had to leave a message on his machine. I did receive a call back later in the day. I was told the repairs was not what he originally suspected. He would not be able to actually repair the TV until the following Monday once his Tech had a chance to determine what the actual problem was and what the cost of repairs would be. I paid the $50 for the estimate, went and picked up the TV and purchased a new one.
Description of Work: I was given an estimate for a 50 in. flat panal TV repair. I took the TV to the repair facility which is a garage in his home. I did have an estimate done on this TV from another repair facility but I wanted to get two estimates to compare.

Description of Work: When the repairman called (about an hour after I contacted Kirk's Electronics) he asked me to unplug the TV and the cable unit for 5 minutes and see if my problem of no sound fixed itself. It did. Other TV repair people would often just come out and do the same thing but charge me for a house visit. Thanks. I will contact Kirk's when the next real problem comes up.

 + -1 moreTV failed on a Thursday. Called Kirk on Friday morning and left a message. Kirk returned call, discussed problem, and recommended that they pick up the TV for repair in their shop. Picked up as scheduled on Friday afternoon. TV repaired over the weekend and delivered as scheduled on Monday. Delivery man assisted in rewiring and first use.
Description of Work: Flat Screen HD Television power on/power off problem.
