Turned by bed bugs were actually bat bugs. Yay! Kumar with Himalyan Pest Control was very responsive and was going to come to my home to check the bugs at 9pm on a Friday, except the job he was already on ran late. He ended up here at 10am on Saturday and quickly determined that we have bats in the attic. As Himalayan specializes in bed bugs we'll have to call someone else but having him here on Saturday made for a much less stressful weekend.

I didn't use them because they were too expensive. They quoted me over $2000 and I didn't have any. They were very nice, and I probably would have used them if they weren't so expensive. They seemed pretty knowledgeable about their services and they were very professional as well. I would recommend them to anybody who would want to pay that amount of money. I didn't have that much going on though.
Description of Work: I got an estimate from Himalaya Pest Control for taking care of my bed bugs. I thought I had bed bugs and the young lady came out and looked, and gave me an estimate, but I didn't use them.

"ONE BEDBUG is TOO MANY" is our attitude and we like to Kill 100% of Bedbugs (including Eggs) the FIRST Time. And so far, we have delivered the result i.e. Elimination Not Control or Management without any Pesticide use. When I spoke to you on 1/28/13 & 2/09/13, you already had 2 Chemical treatments done. And most home owners call pest control professional after they have used some sort of pesticide few times themselves. I am very proud of our Industry and fellow pest control professionals as there are lot of very knowledgeable & Detailed Technicians. Thorough treatment = more Time = Cost. We like our customer to wake up fresh with ear to ear smile after our 1st treatment and get on with their normal life as before so we use the best available tool and technology-HEAT and work very hard for the money we charge. 90% of our new customers come through customer referrals. It was a pretty good experience. They did what they said they would do and everything went just fine, the problem was fixed and I would consider using them again.

So far, so good. We caught about two rats right away which I disposed of myself. That was about a week ago. I have not caught any since then. Even better, we have not heard anything scurrying around in our walls our above our heads in the house since I patched up the holes in the attic. Overall, I really liked Himalaya. The owner was really professional, and I appreciated that he cared more about getting the problem taken care of permanently then he did about being able to come out every month to service the house.
Description of Work: Originally came out for a free estimate on getting rats removed from our home. The man who came to service our home is also the owner of the company. He was very helpful and took his time to walk around the house with me and point out all the problem areas. He spotted some areas in the attic where rodents could get in and told me how to fix them. He also showed me some spots around the home where I could cut down branches that might be providing rats or squirrels access to our roof. After I decided to use their services, it was $170 to set approximately 10 traps throughout our home. Each additional visit is supposed to cost $70, although, there has not been any need for an additional visit, so far. He also told me that if he is in the area he would stop by for no charge.

They did a good job. They did not overcharge. a lot of bang for the buck. They provided excellent service. They did what they said they were going to do, they got rid of the tropical roof rats. I would highly recommend them to others.
Description of Work: Pest control took 20 rodents from attic and basement.
