My experience with him was fine. He showed up on time. He didn't end up doing any work on it because it didn't act up while he was here. He said if it's not broken, he can't fix it. He told me to call him again when it was broken. I would use him again in the future.

They did a great job. It was very easy scheduling the appointment for them to come out. I would recommend them.

Everything turned out well.  The technician arrived on time, clearly explained what he was doing, and did a great job because we haven't had any problems with the stove since his repairs.

They were very professional, punctual and polite.  They always called before they came out.  They took plenty of time to explain and presented more than one option.  They are putting all the money on labor towards the new compressor, which he didn't have to do.

I called Atlanta appliance (http://atlantaappliance.com) late in the day on a Friday. They were able to come out the next day, showed up within the first 20 minutes of a 2 hour window. Inspected the microwave and within 15 minutes diagnosed it to be the computer board. Since we decided to purchase a new microwave instead of replace the board, we only had to pay $7.95.

I was very happy they showed up on time. That was very important for a busy person like me. The Tech (Emik) was friendly and knowledgeable. He had the part with him and replaced it right away. I appreciate the honest and affordable price and the best thing is my fridge is working great. I recommend them to everybody I know! Thanks for a job well done!!

I scheduled an appointment between 9 and 11 AM.  Repairman called to advise running late would arrive approximately 12PM.  He arrived as promised.  Diagnosed minor problem immediately and fixed it.  He tested all parts of my gas stove to ensure working probably.  I was only charged the $7.95 service charge.  I was very happy with the service I received.  This is my first time using Appliance Master and I would defiantly use them again.

We were so impressed with the work he did repairing the dryer. We asked him to look at our dishwasher which was also not working.  Another repairman had told us it was toast; but, we thought while he was here we'd get a second opinion.  He started working on it, but stated he would need to come back to complete the work.  We set up another appointment.  He returned as scheduled and fixed the dishwasher, too!

We woke up early on a Sat. morning to find a large puddle of water coming from the refrigerator.  We called several companies and this was the first one that we were able to reach.  The technician arrived within the window of time that was given to us and made the repair immediately.  I was a little confused though when I was told to make the check out to the company that was subcontracting for them.  Otherwise, we had a great experience.

I sent an inquiry through their website and they responded within minutes to setup the appointment. So far so good. Their website indicated that they serviced Magic Chef appliances and I put in the comments that I needed a Magic Chef wine fridge repaired.
The tech (Ivan) was due to arrive between 2pm-4pm on 8/12. He actually called before 2pm and said he was outside - again, so far so good.
He came in and looked at the wine fridge and determined that the fans needed to be replaced. After calling his office, unfortunately they don't carry parts for a Magic Chef wine fridge. This didn't make sense to me, since I had specified what I needed repaired when I made my appointment.
It gets better.
While he had the fridge pulled out from under the counter, he pointed out to me that the electrical outlet was loose and recommended that I have an electrician come and have a look at it. He also advised me that I could probably call another company to repair the fridge, but by the time I paid for parts and labor it would probably make more sense just to buy a new wine fridge since they're not that expensive.
This is the best part - he then presents me with a bill for $8, which is what they charge for a service call. Great, I thought. That's really reasonable. I pulled out my Visa since their website said they accept all major credit cards. He asked me if I could write a check instead. Weird, but no big deal. Then, he says to me that if I appreciated the fact that he pointed out the electrical issue, I could GIVE HIM A FEW EXTRA DOLLARS. He had a heavy accent, so I wasn't even sure I heard him correctly. He repeated himself and again ASKED ME FOR EXTRA MONEY for the advice he gave.
So not only did he NOT fix the fridge, he refused my credit card, and then had the balls to ask me for an extra tip!?!?!
I wrote him a check for $20 and resolved then and there to write this review. I would absolutely not use this company again - they are obviously completely sketchy.

I reached out to Applicance Master in a bit of frustration; I had contacted 2 other Angie's List service providers who would did not service our area (City of Atlanta) even though their listing indicated they did.
Nonetheless, I reached to Appliance Master on a Thursday, and the repair guy showed up at the agreed upon time on Saturday and successfully completed the repair of our Samsung (built-in) microwave oven (only 2 yrs old).
I am quite happy with the level of service and quality provided, and will certainly use their services in the future.

Called at 8:45 and told a technician could be here between 9-11 today. Stanley arrived at  11:00.  Very efficient and diagnosed problem immediately.  Defrosted and cleaned the drain line.   Worked quickly and demonstrated how to chance the filter when we will need to do this in the future.  Cleaned up well and put refrigerator back pointing out that we need to leave a bit more space between wall and refrigerator.   Left his card with his name on it for the future.

I submitted a request through their website and did receive a call back the same day. They scheduled an appointment for Monday, April 15, 2013. The repair tech said that the drain line needed to be cleaned out. I was told the price, agreed, and the tech spent a good hour cleaning the drain line. I paid by check and then he left. That night, it was noticed that the water leak was still not repaired as it was flowing from the center, underneath the freezer area now. I called the next morning, and again, the same tech was dispatched. Also noticed was that the freezer drawer now seemed to stick and not close all the way. The tech arrived and was told of both issues. He just stood their with a confused look on his face (he didn't seem to grasp the english language as well as most). He looked under the freezer (by this time we had mopped up the water in the morning so as to not damage the floors) and said "I don't see water." I said, I know, we had to mop it up, but trust me, it's still leaking. He seemed even more confused, pulled the fridge out from the wall and poked around for 3-4 minutes and said, "I can't find the problem". By this time i was upset and brought up the drawer issue. He insisted that "It was supposed to close that way". After pressing the issue, he removed the drawer and put it in the correct way (he had put it in backwards last time). He said he could do nothing more so I asked him to leave my home. I then emailed http://www.atlantaappliance.com again..well, used their contact form (there is no way to directly email them, and actually, the company I made the check out to was "Sub Zero Experts" of Alpharetta, GA) and asked them to come out and complete the repair. A day went by and I had heard nothing, so I tried their form again, this time saying that I would put a hold on the payment until we satisfied this. Still nothing. The day after that I put a hold on the check. I just wanted the repair to be completed...happy to pay for correct service. Their website even states "All work is guaranteed.".
Fast forward to today, June 25, 2013. I received a notice from Sub Zero Experts, asking for payment plus a fee totaling $190.00 along with a form letter about GA Criminal Statues. At first I was really upset that a company would treat customers like this, but rather than spend any more time on this, I just paid them the $190.00 today.
Further, if I cared more (or had the time) I may be inclined to pursue a fraud or false advertising claim against them. I'm a simple guy that just wants things done right, and in this case, it wasn't. Nor was their any communication to try to resolve the issue.

So I HATE doing laundry and typically procrastinate...we were going out of town so I had tons of loads to get done...first load and I realize my washer wasn't working (agitator wasn't spinning at all). Panic settles in so I called Appliance Masters on a Friday afternoon and they sent out Leon, our technician. He was at my house and fixed my washing machine and dryer in less then three hours from my initial call to schedule an appointment (my dryer was making a god awful noise so I had him check into that too). I can't believe he actually fixed them that fast! Great customer service all around...if you're in a bind and need your appliance fixed quickly give them a call. Job well done!

When we called him he was here within an hour which was good.  He was very professional and he had a good sense of humor.  He was very quick with getting it fixed.  He walked in and found exactly what the problem was.  It was fixed within thirty or forty five minutes.  The person that was sent out was very professional and very personable as well.  He just did a great job.

I woke up to a small amount of water in the floor in front of my 5 year old Jenn-Air (Maytag) refrigerator.  I pulled out the refrigerator and found that the water control valve for the water dispenser and ice maker was leaking. I considered whether to do it myself or call for service. Primarily not wanting to wait two days to get the part from Amazon ($30) I went to Angie?s List and decided on Appliance Service Pro Inc .  I called and was told they would be out in less than two hours. Gary arrived in one hour. I told him what the problem was and without looking he said he could fix it for $250. I said that was too high and I would fix it myself. He then said if I would pay cash the company would not have to pay taxes and he could do it for $200.  I said I would pay them for the service call and do it myself.  He asked what would make me happy, I said $150?we arrived at $160 cash. He went immediately to work replacing the valve and cutting off connectors on the existing tubing (which were later needed and had to be reattached). When finished, I inspected the work and noted that the way he plumbed it---he had taken the refrigerator water filter out of the filtered water and ice circuit. Once he understood this (we had a severe language barrier), he seemed happy to correct it. When this was done I inspected the work and explained to him that the way he had done it only the water dispenser was filtered and not the ice. I showed him how to connect the valve to filter both. On his third attempt he got the water filter plumbed correctly but when he turned on the water to test it, he had forgotten to connect the plumbing to the refrigerator and after a while water was pouring off my counter top onto my hardwood floors. After a lot of mopping and 8 towels I got the water up and Gary reconnected the plumbing. At this point (about 2 hours into the job) he was so exasperated that instead of mounting the control valve on the back of the refrigerator, he just threw it into the bottom of the water collection tray of the refrigerator. I was too exasperated at this point myself to have him correct it, I just wanted him gone and decided I would correct it myself or call the company to have someone else come out and complete the job. Left uncorrected this would cause an ungrounded electrical short should any water ever drain into the pan.
I decided to call management and get them to send someone out to correct the situation and this is the point that everything really turned ugly (Gary was pleasant throughout the ordeal). The manager was aggressive and rude from the first moment. He would not even allow me to explain why I was calling. He first said that if I had paid the extra $100 they would have done the job right. He said for $100 they would come out and fix it. Then he started yelling at me telling me I didn?t know what I was talking about. In the end he told me the water filter was junk anyway and it didn?t matter if it was reconnected. I can understand a botched repair job but I can find no excuse for a company that doesn?t respect it customers and treats them rudely or fails to honor their ?100% satisfaction guarantee.?
I am new to Angie?s List and what I learned from this experience is that most companies can get a number of good ratings because a lot of people don?t know if a repair is done correctly (and in fact had I not known what to look for and inspected the work I would have given a good rating).  However it is most important to look at the negative ratings.  I don?t understand a rating system that gives an overall A rating to a company that has 16% D or F ratings.
