 + -1 morePerfect. It was a large job, but the team was able to knock it out in a day. It's been running everyday since May 2017, never an issue.
Description of Work: After 19 years the condenser started leaking and the fix was short term and expensive. Gagne presented few replacement options and I selected the middle solution which uses the new safe coolant.

Description of Work: Thermostat (White-Rodgers) went dead and heat was pouring out. Could turn to heat pouring out with no stopping or to system off (with zero heat) and outside temp. was 35 and getting colder. Eric was on way home (after 5:30pm when I called) and he came to my house to fix the problem because he didn't want me to be cold until tomorrow. Fixed it, programmed thermostat, and I slept well, thanks to him. They care!!!!

 + -1 moreI am thrilled with the whole experience I had with Gagne. I was panicked that one of three AC units when out last night, right before the Labor Day weekend. I got some referrals from friends and looked on Angies List. I called several providers with coupons and was told that they could come out tomorrow (Friday.) That is prompt, but made me nervous in the event they had to come back with a part, or if a new unit needed to be installed - I can't live without my AC all weekend! Then I called Gagne because they are located close by. Jenny, who answered the phone, was polite and understanding and arranged for a technician to come out within 2 hours!! The tech, Humberto, was prompt, professional, courteous and extremely knowledgeable. He showed me the defective part and (very scientifically) described why it wasn't working any longer. He replaced the part and serviced my other units. I was delighted that he could save the unit and HAPPILY contracted with Gagne to do semi-annual maintenance. This was a Five Star experience and I am ready for the weekend!

Description of Work: Overall a good experience. Reason for the slightly lower mark for price....when they came to replace our system, the technicians had recommended another service which made sense to do but because they were in the middle of the job, a quick decision had to be made on our part. Thus we were not able to really determine if the cost for the additional work was reasonable or not.

 + -1 moreThey are incredible. He started with the things that were the least expensive for us to make the repair the least expensive as possible. He had ordered a part for me that we ended up not needing. He observed the cost of the part. I only know him through doing business with him, but I look at him as a good friend. He responds to situations and treats you like a good friend.
Description of Work: Our ac was going off last summer repeatedly. Jeff would come by any time even on weekends. He was here working on our system to get it up and going.
