We had Pat and his crew at Earthly paint almost our entire interior and his team did a terrific job! Pat was super responsive to all of our questions both before and during the painting process, and his crew was really great as well. They pay attention to the small details and don't cut corners. We couldn't be happier with the way everything looks! Highly recommended!

It was amazing. Earthly Matters' response time was fantastic, and this was the day after Hurricane Irma came through Atlanta. The problem was immediately identified, the repair was completed timely and professionally, including repairing and repainting the damage that was caused inside the house. The crew had all the appropriate materials, and were very diligent about cleaning up at the end of the job.

The brick molding around our windows was significantly damaged and worn and needed replacement, repair and painting. We received a quote from Earthly Matters Contracting for repairing and painting the windows and a quote for a full exterior paint. We made it clear that we were mostly focused on the windows during the inspection of the house. We ultimately decided to paint the entire house. Upon arriving home the second day of work I noticed more caulk and wood putty were being used rather than replacing the damaged wood. I made my concern known to the project manager and we identified about a dozen additional areas that were being covered up by caulk and putty rather than being replaced. These were significant areas and should have been identified as part of the original job. Salesman and project manager reviewed additional work and supplied updated quote that represented 20% of the overall cost, an additional $1,348 in material and work. Explanations were given, but I still can't understand why you would use significant amounts of caulk and wood putty, then prime on an area that was to be identified to me the home owner the next day? Why not leave as is and address additional work with me? I give myself a C+ as well. I should have gone around the house with both the salesman & project manager and made sure I understood 100% of what was going to be repaired and/or replaced. Unfortunately, I did not make time to do so and it cost me in the end. Lesson learned. Don't trust the name of a company thinking you are paying for exceptional workmanship and don't have to worry about anything. Treat all contractors the same. Get a quote, check references, fully understand everything, watch them like a hawk and hope and pray they do it right.

"Thank you for your feedback. The estimate for the work on this home was given in November 2016 and the job was awarded and completed almost a year later, in August/September 2017. There was a substantial amount of wood/trim replacement identified at the time of the estimate. We should have made a visit prior to starting the work to check for any changes in the condition of the home. We will do it differently next time. A lot can change in a year."

Outstanding work. They did a great job of painting the interior and then replaced the rotted exterior wood before painting outside. The chimney siding boards were in really bad shape and they replaced them. They saved me from having to replacing two sets of windows (Home Depot recommended to replace) by replacing and sealing the rotted exterior trim.

Steve gave us a quote that came in much higher than all other contractors, but explained they ensure the job is done right, and done right the first time. We we were moving with a 6 month old and on a tight timeline from an hour away, so his reassurance to us of peace of mind was the deciding factor to spending 40% more. This was an expensive mistake. Steve and his team not only more than tripled the timeline (delaying our move by almost a week and inconveniencing us after we were moved in), but provided shoddy work at best. We had to constantly reach out to Steve for updates - when they would be back, what time they were coming, when they would be done, etc etc. His team left trash and debris throughout our home, and over 20 bags of trash on our lawn. When the job was FINALLY done, we expressed our dissatisfaction, he said that the delay was our fault because we "added extras" - asking them to install about 20 feet of molding to our kitchen cabinets and paint behind a 30" bath vanity, and blamed the imperfections throughout the house on our movers. (We've got photographs of these issues from before the movers!) When it came down to payment, we calculated all the delays, inconvenience, expenses for rent to extend our move date, cost to repair the scratch to our brand new floors, and explained to Steve we didn't feel we should owe the originally quoted amount that had come with (what turned out to be) a false guarantee. Instead, an inflated price and timeline that we could have hired someone to do for 1/3 of the price!!! He agreed verbally to this amount (which was 10-15% off) and accepted our check for payment, which was cashed immediately. 2 weeks later, he emailed saying we owe the full amount or else a lien would be placed on our house! We agreed to pay no more than half - because we just wanted him to go away and get settled into our new home, enjoy the holidays, etc without a battle over such a terrible experience. He accepted, we paid, and now every day we look around at the crap job they did and kick ourselves in the derrière for thinking Earthly Matters was a good choice. I was going to try to avoid leaving a negative review, but tonight I decided to be ambitious and start trying to remove all the paint splatters on what were our brand new wood floors before Earthly Matters happened. They won't come up. Our entire living area constantly looks dirty because of all the white specks on the floor. The floors were scheduled to be installed AFTER Earthly Matters was done to avoid issues but because they blew the timeline, they crossed paths and now we're stuck with the mess forever. Do not recommend!!!!!!!!

Incredible. We received a magnificent quality job in all respects. The A-team painters were superb, talented painters led by a very serious, highly experienced job superintendent who set the highest of quality & performance standards for the team. They treated the job as if they were painting their own personal homes. They constantly focused on all the numerous details to insure perfection including expertly protecting the glass and electrical fixtures, painting the trim with precision, finishing the job on schedule, and leaving the premises spotless upon completion. These are true craftsmen level painters. Earthly matters provided us an extremely fair price and exceeded all contract expectations. We highly recommend them without hesitation. Earthly Matters did an excellent job from the initial estimate through completion of the job. Quickly identified small repairs with reasonable costs. I got 3 estimates and Earthly Matters was a little less than the most expensive company. The estimator did not suggest more repairs than were necessary. They were able to begin work almost immediately. The Project Manager did the estimation and checked the work daily. Very happy with the results.

Earthly Matters sent their Project Manager Patti Fuller to give us an estimate for the work needed. Patti met us at our new house the afternoon of the day we called Earthly Matters. She went through the house with us making professional recommendations as far as paint colors, adding crown molding, dry wall repair, hardwood flooring and cabinet restoration. The work was started the next week and was finished in less than five days. Patti came every morning and afternoon to check on the work being done. It was a pleasure working with her and I would recommend Patti Fuller and Earthly Matters to anyone needing professional painting and repair work done to their home. We included some "before pictures" with the dark colors the painting crew painted over and some pictures with the grey color we chose to use throughout the house. We love the results, thank you Earthly Matters!

Patti and her crew did a wonderful job. We had a lot going on moving into our new home and the painters were very considerate of all our belongings that were scattered about. They also worked well with some other trades that were working in and around the house at the same time.
