As we have an oak tree adjacent to our property that drops tons of leaves on our roof in the fall that eventually make it to the gutters, I decided to find gutter guard vendors through Angie’s list. I found 3, one of whom (Taylor Construction) never arrived for an appointment, and two of whom did arrive and quoted installation of gutter guards on our residence. Of the two who quoted, I chose Duffy Roofing and Restoration and am happy that I did! From the 1st appointment, I was confident that Duffy Roofing would provide an excellent product. John Velez from Duffy Roofing was punctual, friendly, courteous and very professional. Bad weather delayed the installation but eventually the gutter guards were installed. After the gutter guard installation, Mr. Velez returned to inspect the gutter guards and gave the installation a thumbs -up. Incidentally, two years ago we hired Duffy Roofing to install a new roof and the results were the same; excellent product, excellent service and excellent warranties. If we need any future work within Duffy Roofing and Restoration’s expertise, they will be the first one we call. I highly recommend Duffy Roofing and Restoration for any Roofing and Restoration work.

Review/Recommendation for Duffy Roofing This kind of professionalism is what every business should emulate…that is, providing the customer with the assurance that your trust has been placed in reputable hands and then holding yourself to that high regard. Steven Duffy-Roberts, of Duffy Roofing, to the rescue!! We were in an emergency situation following Hurricane Irma in 2017. I hired an independent, local roofing contractor but after two weeks of him starting the job, he was still on my roof and not making much progress. It’s hard to make progress when you interrupt the job by not showing up for days at a time and only have one (two maximum) other workers on the crew. Thankfully a neighbor of mine, who is a home inspector, knocked on my door to let me know that he noticed the roofer laying new felt over old felt (rather than removing the old felt to inspect for wood damage beneath) and that they were laying the felt vertical rather than horizontal. I now know that both of these practices go against roofing best practices, the latter may even go against code…I can’t say for sure because by this time my head was spinning. I had had enough and decided it was time to fire the independent, local roofing contractor if he showed up that day…which he did. That morning, I telephoned two roofing companies that came highly recommended. I was in a panic asking them for help, advising my roof was partially completed albeit rather poorly, exposed, and that I wanted to fire the contractor that morning. In both instances, I left a message. I was told by the Duffy Roofing operator that someone would be in at 9:00 AM, she took my contact information and the reason for my call, and my phone rang at 9:01 AM. Steven Duffy-Roberts of Duffy Roofing was the only one to call me back. Communication is key in any business, and to hear Steven’s voice on the other end of the line providing me assurance that he could help me was like a voice from heaven. When I explained the situation, the urgency and my concerns about the quality of the roofer’s workmanship, Steven’s response was perfect, “Get them off your roof, immediately.” I had a grin from ear-to-ear when he said that…Steven was my Super Hero. Steven was at my house within half an hour, and while I was the one that had to ultimately fire the roofer and get him off my roof, Steven stood by my side. He didn’t say a word, but his presence made it a lot easier for me to do what had to be done. Within the hour another Duffy employee, John, showed up. John was like a breath of fresh air. He explained the entire process that was going to take place, he explained why they would have to remove any new shingles already installed, he told me that he needed to put a tarp on the roof immediately, and that my roof would take 2 days to complete only because it is a rather large ranch home with a lot of roof surface. Within the hour, the crew was placing the tarp on my roof. With all the business of paperwork behind us, I had the pleasure of meeting Don Carlos whose crew did the actual work. Don Carlos is an incredible individual, very respectful and took personal supervision and responsibility for his crew. I can’t say enough good things about Don Carlos and his crew, but that I give him my heartfelt thanks for a job well done.

It was a great roofing experience. The entire staff (sales, work crew, etc.) were quite professional. They were prompt and worked steadily. They were able to complete the job in one day! The job was done at the end of March 2017. It has given me an incredible sense of confidence and relaxation by not having to worry and fret during the stormy Spring and Summer weather we have been having. I would hire Duffy Roofing again!!!

There was a mix up somehow on what type of work we wanted done. They sent a salesman out to talk to us about replacing our whole roof instead of someone who could go up and look at the damaged area. We got that straightened out and then set up a day to get the work done. They ended up calling to reschedule because they set it up too early in the morning. Though there was a bit of a language barrier with the workers, once they did come out to do the work, we were happy with the job they did. Duffy is easy to contact, very helpful, and they returned my calls promptly.

Awesome! From the first phone call, everything was great. They came right out to check out our damage from the hurricane. They went over all our insurance paperwork and made sure we understood every line. Once we signed our contract with them, we had supplies delivered within a week, and a brand new roof put on a few days after that. They whole process took less than two weeks. They have been great in communicating with us, definitely going above and beyond to make sure everything is perfect. Could not have asked for a better experience!!

Job went well. Looks great and the workers didn't quit until they were done...worked very hard. We interviewed two other roofing companies first and wasn't satisfied. Steve, the salesman, didn't push us into anything we didn't want. My husband used to sell lumber and roofing, and he felt confident after speaking with the salesman that Duffy was the company to go with. We're glad we did and feel we got our monies worth. I have been very impressed with the quality of workmanship and how Duffy conducts business. Their quotes are easy to read and understand. They address questions promptly. I just had them fix a roof leak and install all new windows in my home and I found the prices reasonable and I was most impressed that they didn't even require a deposit to get the job started. They ordered the windows, scheduled my installation, and I paid them when I was satisfied with their work. The installers were efficient, took care to not get dirt everywhere and worked without even taking a break. My windows look amazing and the installers rehung all my blinds when they were done! I will be using them again should I need work done on my house that Duffy can do and I plan on telling all my friends about them too! Great job!!

Eric was extremely professional during the entire job, communication was great, and he worked with me on the price when I explained in detail what needed to be done. His crew was prompt, used high quality materials, cleaned up after themselves, and completed the job on time. Wonderful. What a great company. After an initial insurance claim our insurance company said we didn't qualify for a new roof. Duffy inspected and documented our damage, we had a reinspection done. The adjuster knew Duffy and even told us they were one of the few reputable companies. They apologized for having to come out a second time. Our roof was replaced upgraded to a lifetime product and only cost us 500 our deductible. True professionals. I highly recommend this company.

Joe and his crew were the kind of people you would want in your corner. They were all professional and very understanding. Joe went extra miles to make sure I was comfortable with the process. He explained the entire process and his crew did everything that was promised. I could not have asked for a better contractor for my roof replacement. had a large branch go through the roof of my garage. The adjuster came the day after I called, and by the next day the work was done. They fixed it before I even heard back from my insurance company!! The adjuster, Cliff, was amazing. Nice knowledgeable and very respectful. The shingles were perfectly matched and the contractor who did the work was fast and efficient. Everything was cleaned when they were finished. I would definitely use them again and have no problem recommending them.

It couldn't have gone smoother. Everything was completed in a day and a half. It was a great price and Joe even offered to help out with some other repair work that needed doing, but I didn't know who to call. Duffy has been extremely helpful. I enthusiastically recommend them.

Responding to an AJC (Atlanta Journal Constitution Newspaper) ad for $1000.00 off a roofing job, we contacted Duffy Roofing to discuss the replacement of our old roof at our residence. As promised, Duffy's rep. arrived and did a thorough inspection of the roof. Once we agreed on our costs for roof replacement we hired Duffy.
After the materials were delivered and after I noticed that the manufacturing dates of two different pallets of shingles were different, I contacted Eric, Duffy's sales rep. My concern was how could I be assured that the shingles produced on two different dates were equivalent in color and texture. Even after the end of the working day, Eric proceeded to contact GAF, the shingle manufacturer to determine the answer and that was that if all GAF shingles have the same lot number, despite being manufactured on different dates, the color and texture are the same.
The crew of 6 arrived early on the date promised and were done just after mid-day working very well as a team. All walking surfaces and vegetation around the house were covered with tarps, and all loose debris was picked up and placed in a large dumpster that Duffy had arranged to be delivered before the roofers arrived. Even the dumpster truck operator ran a magnet over the driveway to pick up any metallic roofing debris.
We were impressed with Eric's professionalism, friendless and courtesy and responsiveness and the work that was performed. Although we've heard nightmares of folks who worked with unscrupulous roofers, the entire process with Eric and Duffy roofing was very easy.
Although this was an insurance claim and our first claim against our home insurance, Eric worked with our insurance company and made the whole experience seamless. If we had to do it all over again, we would not hesitate in hiring Duffy Roofing and Restoration again. We highly recommend Duffy Roofing and Restoration!

It was tough to find someone who was willing to put a roof on my shed as it was a small job, but the guys at Duffy were very accommodating. VERY WELL. Duffy Roofing came out to review the roof and were very professional. Not only did they review the roof with a computer program that mapped our roof but sent their OWN insurance appraiser onto our roof, providing the human touch to our experience. They were the ONLY company that went into the attic to check the infrastructure. That was the selling point for us. They knew our roof from every vantage point. Joe and Eric were professional, handling each of our questions without making us feel we were being 'sold' a product. They know their product and there is no high pressure sales tactics the other companies used. You could tell they truly care about what they do. We wanted a quality product (and got one) but were very pleased with their quote, as well. They cleaned up behind themselves and made the process effortless. The other companies we reviewed waltzed in providing very few details, not seeming to care about our roof. It was just another proposal. They were phony, almost expecting the business because of the company name and their many advertisements. Ask yourself a question when you hear them advertised all the time: How much will their marketing cost you? Trust me, YOU will pay for it! We couldn't have chosen a better company that Duffy Roofing. Professional. Personal. Timely. Effortless.

Tree fell on the house, they came in less than 2 hours, removed the tree, fixed the roof. They worked with the insurance company that tried to cheat me on the repairs. Great company, Great service, Great people to work with. Will use the again.

I can't possibly recommend Duffy Roofing enough. We found ourselves in a bit of an urgent situation when our old roof failed and we had a lovely waterfall coming through our bedroom ceiling. Duffy had someone there within an hour putting a tarp on our roof in the pitch dark, pouring down rain. From that point through the completion of our new roof, Duffy was in communication with us at every step of the way letting us know what needed to be done, what it would cost, how they would do it, and when it would be complete. They worked directly with our insurance to make sure everything has handled according to plan which made the whole process absolutely brilliant. Every detail was handled professionally and promptly which left us with zero stress on our end. Just one little example... One morning at 7 am I realized I needed the dumpster moved. At 7:20 there was a truck in my driveway moving it to a new spot. My husband and I have owned 11 houses and this was hands down the easiest renovation project we have done! Thank you Duffy!

I knew I was going to hire them after the initial meeting. I had others give quotes, but Duffy's stood out from the rest. This was the first roof i've had to replace so I didn't know what to expect. Joe from Duffy's explained everything about the process, the upgrades, and even the claims process since this was being done as a homeowners claim. He took away all of the stress I was feeling. All of the work was done while I was out of town so I came home to a beautiful new roof. Everything was so clean I couldn't tell anyone had been there except I had an awesome looking new roof.
