This paint job was an absolutes disaster. I am disappointed Martín actually allows this display of workmanship to exist. Areas where some spackle was needed nail holes, raised nail holes etc. was sanded they were not sanded enough and left high spots and are clearly visible at angles. On top of that with the sanding done with a lack of floor covering they left sand dust on the walls throughout and once smooth walls have become orange peel because they also used a 3/4 nap roller instead of a 1/2. They also failed to cut in correctly leaving picture framing all around the house and the old color visible. They also left hairline cracks on the ceiling that was singled out for repair. They left paint splatter of bannisters and on my hardwood floors. They also painted with my front door opened and now the exterior part has paint splatter on the outside. Could you believe that. I’m no pushover and know what a good paint job is. I spoke with Martín and he acted as though I got what I paid for. When you offer a service you give it 100% no matter what. P*** poor. I do not recommend. While on site my neighbor hired them. I immediately told my neighbor stay away. They cancelled.

We have just used Dream House Painting and unfortunately we were not happy at all. Maybe we got a bad team. They forgot to smooth the areas with holes, I had to request that a few times. They did not put any cover  to protect our brand new bathroom floor or newly installed custom cabinets. I almost had a heart attack when I saw it. I had to ask them to cover that area to protect it from the paint. They did not paint straight lines so I had to request for them to come back to correct that, many spots on the walls showed old paint and needed to be corrected . All in all , it was frustrating  and disappointing. You should not have that problem with real professionals but we did. the paint in the bath is chipping away already 3 months after the project was completed which means the walls were not preped before applying the paint or they use cheap paint.

I have used Martin in the past for other projects (painting vaulted high sunroom ceiling, walls and trim; painting kitchen cabinets in preparation for glazing; painting kitchen walls and trim) in the past.  He and his crew are without a doubt the best painters I've ever used--certainly not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.  His crew patches and sands, fixes drywall issues, primes, uses quality materials, doesn't drip paint anywhere and has extremely even and straight technique.  As a Realtor, I have referred Dreamhouse Painting to my clients willingly, and they have all expressed how pleased they were with the results.  Truly professional painters.

  I selected Dreamhouse Painting because a close friend had used them several times with great results and a reasonable price. (I normally only use Angie's List contractors due to a really bad experience with one non-Angie's List Contractor.)

Dreamhouse happened to have work postponed due to weather on the days I wanted. I called Wednesday and the estimate was done Thursday. Painting was completed Friday and Saturday. And they did EVERYTHING right: Caulked, Sanded, No Mess, covered everything, and they were on time.

 The results were perfect!
