DISCOUNT WASTE INC

I called and asked if I needed a permit to place a dumpster on the street and was told NO. I ordered a dumpster, then waited all day for the dumpster to be delivered and NO ONE ever showed up. I called the company 3 times throughout the day to try to check up on the dumpster delivery. The first I was told that if I had ordered a dumpster, it would be delivered that day. The second time I called and Discount Waste asked me if I really expected them to know where their trucks were or when a dumpster would be delivered? (Umm, yes I do, but I guess that unreasonable.) The third time I called they actually decided to check my file, and this time I was told that they didn't deliver it because I didn't have a permit. I tried to explain that they said I didn't need one, but the guy hung up on me, and then didn't answer the phone when I tried to call back. In fact, didn't answer my calls for the next 2 days, and I finally gave up. Then I was charged $195 because they didn't deliver the dumpster. I filed a dispute with my credit card company for the $195 fee. Discount Waste responded to the credit card company stating I had refused delivery because I didn't have a permit. Well I didn't have a permit because Discount Waste said I didn't need one, and no one ever showed up to even try to deliver the dumpster- so how could I have refused delivery? I have also filed a complaint with the BBB- and if you check out their BBB file, you will see that they have had many unhappy customers.
