They did a good job with the actual repair, but the rest of the experience was horrible enough that I wont be back. Chris quoted the repair at a single day and so I brought the car in with the expectation that I would not be out of my car for very long. I brought it in on July 3rd. It was not finished that day. And, of course, the next was a holiday. Friday came and went with no call and finally on Saturday I called the shop. No answer, even during store hours. I thought they might have been closed for the holiday and was wishing Chris would have told me that so I could have brought the car at a time when the turn around could be faster. When I still did not hear from them by mid day Monday (4th actual business day with my car - 6th actual day without my car), I called the shop and Chris, the Store Manager, answered. I asked if my car was ready and he told me that it left the shop Saturday. I asked him what he was talking about and he said and quot;yeah, somebody who looked like your daughter came and picked it up.and quot; WHAT???? He continued with this line, completely normal tone of voice. while I was panicking and wondering how a business could release a car to someone without checking their ID because my daughter did not pick it up. He continued this position, arguing that yes, the girl looked exactly like my daughter and was I sure she did not get it. Finally, he realized I was upset, he said it was a joke. A JOKE. Really??? I was very upset. To this admission, I know I used the F-word. Not proud of that, but a business has my car 5 days longer than they expect without calling me and THEN say it was already picked up???? Under no circumstance could this be considered a and quot;joke.and quot;. When I expressed this to Chris, he became defensive saying he didnt know I was and quot;madand quot;. (I wasnt mad until I had to imagine him giving my car to a stranger a few days earlier). He said the car had been ready and he thought I had been called. I told him no one called. He continued this was not and quot;his faultand quot; because he was and quot;on vacation.and quot; I asked if the store was closed (as I had wondered) and he said no. I ended the call by saying I would be up to get my car. Chris could not seem to understand that no one wants to call his business and feel panic that their car was stolen or given to the wrong customer. So, if price is all that matters, by all means - use Carsmetics. They do a decent job for a reasonable price. But if professionalism and peace of mind also matter, go somewhere else. Im sure there has to be another body shop with good prices and treats their customers with respect.

"I am deeply sorry that you had a bad experience at carsmetics. [removed member name] came in with her daughter for a quote on her daughters car and [removed member name]car. At that time I provided then with a quote for each car. [removed member name] seemed pleased with the quotes (she had been a previous customer) and she went ahead and scheduled a appointment for her daughters car for the following day. She also told me that when we completed her daughters car, which was a good bit more work than her car, that when she came and picked up her daughters car she would then drop her car off. I then told her it would take 2 days to repair her daughters car and I would call her when it was done. As I told [removed member name] her daughters car was done within two days and I called her that evening to let her know its done and ready to be picked up. She told me she couldnt make it till the morning. I then explained to her that would be fine but I have her lexus scheduled for the next day and if she could get here early the next morning so we could get going on the repair. The next day came and she did not show up till well after 12 o'clock. Long story short we finished her car before the weekend, and my assistant manager called to let her know it was done and did not get a answer. Yes, I was not working that friday due to the 4th of July holiday but he did tell me he tried to call her, as we do on every vehicle we finish. We were open on that Saturday and [removed member name] did call us but it was well after store hours, as I checked the times on our caller ID. She called after 2pm on Saturday and we close at 1pm. I do apologize about telling her that someone picked up her car when in fact no one did, but I have had previous experiences with her and thought I knew her well enough to joke around. It turns out I did not so again I apologize. When I told her it was already picked up she began to get upset and thats when I told her I was joking and I am sorry, she began cursing at me. She said no one has called her to tell her its done, when I know my Assistant did. She went on to say she tried calling us Saturday but I explained we close at 1pm and she called after 2pm as I checked the caller ID. I told her I was not in the office the days following the fourth but her car was finished. At this point she didnt want to hear anything else I had to say and hung up on me. She showed up about a hour later to pick up her car. I apologized once more to her. She didnt say anything and paid for the repair and left. Carsmetics prides itself on customer service and we consider that one of the most important things to our business and what sets us apart from others. I realize I should have never joked around with her, and that this is completely my fault. I am deeply sorry about what had happened and that I upset a valued customer. Carsmetics and I will continue to work hard at pleasing all our customers needs."

Initially my visit was to only receive a quote for the work and make a decision at a later time. The quote, however, was very reasonable so I informed the manager that I'd return the next day with the vehicle when I could arrange for a ride for the return trip home. Instead, he arranged for my use of a rental vehicle while repairs were performed---at the company's expense. Less than 2 days later the repair work was completed and the SUV looked great--with perfect paint matching on a 6-year old vehicle. Further, I casually commented at the time the quote was provided that I intended to have the interior detailed extensively after the exterior work is completed so the vehicle looked good for my newly-licensed daughter. The manager later passed this along to the store owner as my vehicle was being repaired, and the store owner arranged for a local car wash/detail company nearby to perform the interior detailing at Carsmetics expense. Wow. Needless to say, Carsmetics exceeded my expectations in a big way. I highly recommend using Carsmetics if you have a need for its services. This is a very professsional and well-managed company.

Very easy process - drop off the car first thing in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day. (Of course if you need more extensive work, one day might not be enough time.) But I would highly recommend them and will definitely use their services again for any future scratch or painting needs. My car looks great. I kept hearing positive reviews about Carsmetics and everyone was right.
