Fantastic Work

I have used this company for previous projects and have always been pleased. I had a unique request: add tile to my stair risers in our newly renovated basement. The contractor arrived promptly for the estimate and I showed him a picture of what I wanted. I received a quote shortly thereafter and scheduled the work a week later. The job was completed in 2 days (grouted and sealed much like a tiled backsplash would be). He was exceptionally tidy - even used a small paint brush to sweep up the debris on the steps. The result is beautiful. People comment all the time about how attractive it is.

Excellent work, frankly more detailed than it needed to be.  They are extremely professional and my wife really appreciated the fact that they were very careful to not let the cats get out of the house.  Little things make a big difference with her.

Have used this company for many years.  They can do everything from handyman workto plumbing, carpentry, painting, and many more.  Served as general contractor for kitchen

remodel and they found faux painting for cabinets, glass doors, etc.

He was great! He finished the entire list and he did it well! He caulked a bathroom, fixed a window, amongst other things! I would recommend his services.

It was acceptable work, and have had no future  problems with in. Some of the estimates were higher than another handyman so I only gave them part of the work.

We really enjoyed working with these guys.  They were polite, prompt, professional.  They left the area cleaner than they found it.  My wife loved that they were always careful to make sure the cats didn't get loose.  My only gripe was the bill was a little higher than estimated, because they performed a higher level of finishing than was really required for the job.  I suspect the man who did the work was a bit of a perfectionist, and I can't really fault anyone for that.

1. Involved demolition of old floor and cutting and fitting new. All work done under sink in a tight, awkward space.
2. Routine.
3.Involved cutting and removal of old wooden threshhold, replacing with new aluminum and some cutting and refitting of outdoor supports.
4. Seemingly simple job but work done from the top of a 20ft. ladder set at a steep angle due to limited space on a severe slope. Carpenters young assistant got this job.
All work done competently with complete clean-up.

I called on short notice and they bent over backwards to help me get my projects done. I will use them again for anything as everything they did was perfect. Very professional and reasonably priced. Again everyone from the office to the workman are friendly and professional. An absolute pressure to work with.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB INSTALLING AND MATCHING THE STAIN / POLY FOR THE HANDRAIL AND DESPITE SOME BEHIND THE SHEETROCK ISSUES RUNNING THE POWER WERE DETERMINED TO GET THE JOB DONE RIGHT.THEY WERE PROMPT AND COUTEOUS.

I've used them for a long time. They are excellent. They are very professional. I've used them for at least 6 years and for various jobs. They redid the bathroom on my main floor. They've done painting and carpentry work. They put a small addition on my kitchen. They put tile in my basement. They've done a lot of work. I do get other prices when I want something done. Recently I wanted to update my kitchen and get rid of the track lighting. I found another contractor was a lot less expensive so I went with them for canned lights because I didn't want to pay that much this time. Carpenter prices are a bit high at times because they do things very, very meticulously. They are very skillful and they know what they are doing. I've had them paint my house and do my windows. I have spent thousands. I am sure I will probably use them again because I know that I can rely on their work.

It was fabulous.  They did everything in five minutes.  They're really fast, efficient, really punctual, cleaned-up nice and they did everything.  I had a list like two pages of repairs and yes they did it all.  They were very good.

Firstly, Carpenter & Co ("CC") was one of the only providers in the area who was willing to do a job less than $40,000 or $30,000.  I was told this outright by some of the other folks that I called!

One of the principals showed up when scheduled to look at the project and provide an estimate.  Work to be completed:  deinstall a hanging light fixture; install 18 can lights; install a dimmer switch; install a dedicated 20-amp circuit; deinstall carpet; install a laminate hardwood floor; install quarter round around the whole edge of the room; install some shelves in a closet.

Three men showed up when scheduled.  The work was done well, on time, professionally, and within the budget.

They were able to complete all of the electric with only one access hole put into a soffet in another room.  This hole was patched and painted before they left.

I was completely satisfied with the work and would use this company again.  The two principals, Steve and Matt, are responsive and know what they are doing.

I have had Justin return several times to perform a variety of tasks including:  enhancing the wood around the fireplace and adding a mantel, hanging curtain rods, and installing shelves.  He is professional, courteous, neat, careful with my things and does a great job.

They said it was going to take 3 days it took over 2 weeks. They offered to send 4 men only one came and didn't eve started the first day. They changed their first proposal of materials and possible solutions at least 3 times. He said he could paint the front door who has an uncommon lock system, because that "was not a problem, he had done that before"; took him 4 days to finish and the last day told us not to close the door all day because of the pain; when we tried to close it the lock didn't work, he didn't put it together the way it was supposed to; we were leaving to an overseas trip next morning and couldn't contact anyone from the office. And no emergency locksmith wanted to do it because "those locks need an specialist". Then after coming back for our trip it took them another 2 weeks to finish, we asked them at some point to just finish what they started and do not go on with any of the other items. It was a nightmare and will not recommend to anyone.

The service man that came on site was extremely professional and took the time to do the job right.  I would hire them again.

These folks were competent, courteous and prompt. They did all work to our satisfaction, including a complete cleanup.

I contacted four providers from Angie's List--two handymen and two plumbers for quotes on installing our new dishwasher.  This particular provider offered same day service and the best price so I agreed to go with them.  I also liked that someone answered the phone when I called and was very friendly throughout our conversation.  I most appreciated, however, that they were willing to give me an estimate over the phone without requiring that a technician "see it first"--esp considering that it was a fairly "standard job".    I was told that a technician would be available between 3:30 and 5 and would call me when he was on his way to my house.  Around 5, I received a call saying that the technician had gotten held up at a previous job ( it was much more involved than he previously thought) and that he would be unable to come until Monday.  I told the caller that this was unacceptable as I'd turned away 2 other plumbers who WERE available but that it was now after 5 pm on a Friday and too late to find someone to get the job done today.  She apologized and offered to send someone (I think from another company) to do the work the following morning at 10.  I wasn't here when he arrived as I had plans, however, when I got home the dishwsher had been successfully installed and any mess had been cleaned up.  As much as I would have rather have had the work done on Friday as originally agreed, I appreciate that  sometimes the unexpected happens and that they got the work done as soon as they could (even if they had to outsource it).   After hand-washing dishes for a family of four for over a week, I just couldn't wait another 3 days!  Because of their value, friendliness, and commitment to follow-thru, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again for other jobs. 

This went very well. The worst part of it was that the fan that I over-analyzed and provided had a little bit of an initial rattle that seems to have gone away.  The walkway seemed well engineered and designed for insulation to be blown under it.  The worker also thoughtfully added a rounded 2x4 as a handle for ascending to the attic. They may have made a mistake in bidding too low for the work and materials required but did not attempt to ask for more money. Payment was collected 100% at the end of the work.

Work was done when they said in less time than they estimated.  Finished product was exactly what I wanted.  Cleanup was immaculate.  Will definitely use them again.,

All work completed in a timely manner and they even clean up.
