They had very knowledgeable trainers and utilized effective training methods. They worked with each owner to answer questions and provide advice based on the individual behavioral needs of the dog. They gave me a great foundation with which to communicate with my dog. I'm definitely going to sign him up for the next level of classes.

They were absolutely marvelous. They are wonderful. You can explain what you need though and then they work with that.

In the past year, I've used Atlanta dog trainer for training, boarding and daycare.  They are by far the best organization for these services I've dealt with.  I adopted a puppy in April 2014.  He is a healthy, happy dog and THRIVES at Atlanta Dog Trainer.  Dexter has gone through basic obedience training and he is so well behaved I feel I can take him absolutely anywhere.  I travel quite a bit and I also board him there - it is a fantastic 2-3 acre farm.  The dogs play outside like dogs should.  All the people who work there are certified trainers or going through the owner's dog training academy.  Someone sleeps at the farmhouse at night so the dogs are not left alone and unlike traditional boarding facilities, the dogs are let out between 11pm - 1am vs. just being stuck in a crate or kennel for 12 hours over night.  These are not a bunch of high school kids who don't have a clue about dogs.  I am so impressed by this organization I add 2 hours to my daily commute twice a week to bring Dexter to daycare, traveling from Suwanee to Alpharetta/Milton area.  It's a hike but well worth it.  Now...let me tell you the absolute best part...When I first got Dexter, I took him to a well known day care facility that supposedly was great with dogs.  Dexter contracted a horrific case of puppy warts as the owner and his manager knowingly allowed infected dogs to come to camp.  It took 3 months for them to go away.  I took Dexter to a second well known day care facility and actually watched on the web cam one of the caregivers throw a mop at him and then drag him by his collar across the floor and kennel him because he humped another dog.  I pulled him out immediately and hired a dog walker.  I'm not sure what else happened at this horrible place, but Dexter developed a fear of people and became timid and shy of people.  I called Susie Aga at Atlanta Dog Trainer and she took him on as a special case and used him in her Dog Training Academy class.  By the end of 4 sessions Dexter had so much more self confidence and his ability to cope with new situations and people grew - it was like night and day.  That cinched the deal for me and ever since I've taken him to day care there as well.  Bottom line - I won't go anywhere else.  And for general information - they are extremely competitively priced to all the local and national boarding, training and daycare facilities in the metro Atlanta area.  Additionally, they offer agility training and dock diving lessons which I'm looking into next.

Training facility looked okay, but my dog came home with a vial infection, pneumonia and giaurdia. I had to rush the dog to the vet to save her life. After incurring a $1200.00 Vet bill and having to nurse her back to health, Susie Aga offered me $200 to cover my expenses. I don't consider Atlanta Dog Trainer to be very professional and I definitely would not trust them again with my beloved pet. Consumer beware before boarding or using this business to train your dog.

The trainers and staff have always been helpful and professional. I will continue to use them. They have a variety of training classes offered from obedience to nosework to agility. I just have to find the time to try to attend some of the classes in between my crazy schedule. Susie has always been very responsive to all of my questions regarding their classes and times available. My puppy has a blast at their doggy daycare and leaves exhausted.

The process was positive and professional. I called Susie back several times and she always promptly returned my calls and helped me through the issue at hand. Her honesty and caring meant so much. I appreciate her compassion for her work and truly being an animal advocate helping owners learn and understand their dog. All situations are different and having someone like Susie who is knowledgeable and experienced is a blessing.

First, I e-mail Atlanta Dog Trainer seeking information about their services. I received a reply within a few hours. Next, I contacted Atlanta Dog Trainer by phone and scheduled the service. Lastly, the trainer came to my home and rendered the services. I was satisfied with my experience with Atlanta Dog Trainer.

My son used them and I used them for six weeks. They weren't as expensive as I wanted; they were a lot less money. Trish was very good. We used her with a stray we found. We didn't want to spend a lot of money in case we found the owners. My son's dog is so well-trained it's amazing. She comes to your house and she trains with treats. I wanted a trainer that would do more; I wanted to give them my dog for two weeks and then I would refine things.

We had a great experience with our training class. The teacher was wonderful and the class was kept small enough for the dogs to have a good learning environment.

Great class. We've done both obedience and agility classes at Atlanta Dog Training. Most recently we took the beginning obedience class with our 6 month old pup. Class was great, well run and organized. Rick was great instructor. Great with the dogs and clear with instructions and directions. Also good at keeping class informed during the weekend that class was rained out. Will definitely be back with Rick for the Advanced Class.
