While they were here, they noticed another potential problem on the deck and corrected it, so it was a great experience. They were great.

 + -1 moreI bought the tile separately and the labor was around $4000. I think they did a very good. The quality of the workmanship was excellent and they were punctual. The clean up was very good. I would not hesitate to use them again.

Description of Work: Todd came to our house in response to a request to check out a leak that was staining our kitchen ceiling. After making a hole in our ceiling and checking out evidence of a leak, he had us perform a couple of tests in our bathroom, which is where the leak was coming from and he could not identify any particular source. Apparently some of the grout and caulking may not be well sealed, and when water gets on the floor it seeps through to the ceiling in the kitchen. As a result, since he was not able to actually fix anything he did not charge us for the visit and left everything in good condition when he left.

 + -1 moreThey were very prompt in responding to my request for a proposal. They were here on time and were quite flexible. I was very impressed with them and I am likely to go with them but I am still waiting for a home insurance loan. What I appreciated about them was that I was asking them three options on how to attack a problem in my house and the gentleman was willing to give me the pro's and con's of all three of them and give me a couple of alternatives. He gave me good details so I generally felt very positive about that. I have to tried to get an estimate from someone else and look at the situation. I was sick at that time so he could not complete and I tried many times to get to him and I still don't have his proposal because he wants to do it in person. I never make a decision on the spot.

 + -1 moreHe wasn't really that interested. It's different. It was not straight forward. I just asked him to do a small job and I could be a part of it, but the money that he wanted was something like the whole 9 yards. He told me that he's trying to contact something like an insurance I don't know. He was peaceful. His first impression was so – so, 50-50. He had his own idea which basically was the normal things what they want to do, but sometimes it not them. He was telling me it was better because the job that was to be done was time consuming and he was trying to save me money because the labor charges will be much more, he gave me a lot of explanation but it was not what I wanted. I’m not happy with them.
Description of Work: I got a quote from Alpharetta Home Remodeling for bathroom remodeling about a month ago.

From the beginning "when can we meet to do an estimate" though follow-up after the job was done I could not have asked for a more professional job. Having Todd on my side saved me lots of money and lots and lots and lots of worry. I would love the opportunity of bragging about Todd to you personally so please feel free to call him and ask for Bill Dachelet's phone number to give a reference. He's on time He's trustworthy He asks questions and listens He cares He has good pricing He will give you what you want He's flexible He's fair He cares (yeah, I know I said that already, but it bears repeating) If I have a project that needs to be done NOW and Todd is not available -- I will wait. I do not want anyone else to work on my projects - I'm sure there is no way anyone else could measure up.

 + 3 moreWe needed a contractor that was flexible with two people that new what we wanted but didn't know how to get there. We knew there would be additions to the work, increasing the budget substatially, and he was going to have to work with us on that. With a project this big you'er going to have glitches. But there was nothing tramatic or unresovable. Any issue that arose was handled without aggravation and any cost increases were made aware in advace of the work. This was a huge project for Todd as well as us. But we couldn't have made a better choice in our contractor.
Description of Work: A comlete finishing of the basement, with a bedroom and full bath kitchenette.

 + 3 moreI called them and he asked me to send an e-mail of the issues. I did this and he agreed to come out the following Saturday to take a look. He did do all this but I have not heard from him since, even after I e-mailed back for follow up. I went with a different company instead for the roof as that could not wait and they completed the work within 4 days of me calling thme, thank you Dr. Roof.
Description of Work: Had a few things that needed repair around the house, a roof leak, pillar on the front porch and some millwork that the dogs had chewed as well as hole in the ceiling. I picked this company on the list as they had all great comments, not even one bad one, I even mentioned to Todd that is why I picked his company.

Todd came out and gave an estimate, and even spent some extra time on a Saturday afternoon talking to my wife about a couple of inside bathroom remodeling projects. He came to do the work exactly when he said he would, finished on time, and cleaned up completely. Not only was the work done beautifully, but after the first day I realized that I had forgotten another siding repair; I emailed Todd that night and he was back the next day to do that as well. Charges were very fair and reasonable, the work was superior quality, and the entire experience was terrific. I would highly recommend this firm for ANY remodeling/repair work.
Description of Work: Todd replace a number of pieces of cedar siding that were rotted, along with a large piece of trim on the chimney. This included flashing, caulking, and painting. He also sealed a gap between the driveway and the foundation of the house with a concrete product. Each were small jobs, but a very large variety of work.

He is extremely hard working, courteous, professional, and it seems like there is nothing he can't do! I'm aldo very impressive with his team. From this project, I learn a lot from him as a home owner on how to maintenance and keep my house in good shape.

 + -1 moreIt went very smoothly in general. Any problems that arose came from prior mess ups by my builder or previous contractors. Todd fixed any problems with particular aim to increase my budget as little as possible. I appreciated that very much.
Description of Work: After a basement flood we took the opportunity gut the existing finished basement from top to bottom. Todd personally did most of the work and was present to oversee and participate when any subontractor was called in. He also replaced two sets of French doors for me. Todd is punctual, dependable, honest and hardworking. I intend to use him again often.

 + -1 moreWe needed a fresh coat of paint and some minor repairs for two bedrooms in order to place the house on the market. One of the rooms had a fist-size hole in the wall that needed fixed before painting the wall. Todd fixed the wall and painted both bedrooms with the paint provided. After the paint job was completed, the hole in the wall was not even visible! It looked like a new room! The paint job was completed within 2 days. The bonus was that I didn't have to clean up after the guys finished the job!
Description of Work: Two bedrooms needed a fresh coat of paint and a repair job to one of the walls. The house was going on the market and needed a fresh look.

 + -1 moreTodd showed up on time to discuss a small remodel. He doesn't give estimates prior to introducing you to his sub-contractors (I don't have a problem with that). He stated during his visit that the first step would be to get his drywall team to evaluate what needed to be done, so he'd arrange another visit with that team. I never heard from Todd again. I understand this project may not be in line with his business objectives (i.e., too small perhaps), but a courtesy call to let me know he was not interested would have allowed me to start calling other service providers sooner.

 + -1 moreCalled general contractor(GC) for redesign consult, and estimate of remodeling basement bathroom. GC helped with initial redesign. GC sent us to Bridgeport Carpet to select the tile where we assisted by Julie with selection, the pattern design and the estimate. Work was planned well. The GC started drywall, electrical, and plumbing one week prior to the tile contractor, and finished the prep work on time. Then returned to complete the finish work plumbing, and electrical fixtures plus baseboard and painting in a reasonable time period.

 + 8 moreTodd was effective in making constructive and valuable design suggestions at the beginning of the project and paid a great deal of attention to insure that quality work was done on all aspects of the job. The tile work was especially challenging, and Todd's subcontractor was outstanding. All of his crew were extremely trustworthy, professional, talented, neat (clean up was never an issue) and a pleasure to have in our home. When unexpected problems occurred that required additional time, labor and materials, Todd carefully explained the circumstances, was reasonable and fair in his adjustments and gave us a choice before proceeding. All and all, it was a very positive experience. Our sun room is beautiful, and we finally have a deck we have access to and can use! We would not hesitate to ask him to take on another project. In fact we did; he just finished re-tiling our laundry room.
Description of Work: In our sun room (approx. 16 x 18) Todd Belinsky and his crew removed a hot tub and supporting structure, removed the existing ceramic tile floor, re-leveled the concrete slab floor, removed the partial partitions around the hot tub, installed new porcelain tile on the entire floor, replaced a window with an exterior door, and totally replaced decking on an approx. 16 x 18 deck. The deck rails were replaced with permanent benches and the deck framing was reinforced and brought up to code. A small amount of siding on a bay window area was replaced with HardiPlank. Additional interior electrical outlets were installed in the sun room and exterior outlets and lighting were added on the deck. Interior walls and woodwork were repaired and painted, as was the exterior HardiPlank painted.

 + 4 moreFabulous! Wonderful! I needed someone who could "make it happen" and got much more than I could have expected. First and foremost, Todd was easy to communicate with. We always openly discussed what we wanted, discussed alternatives, and when new ideas came up, we discussed options. Todd was available via phone and email and you can TALK to him. Throughout the process I always felt comfortable that we were on the same page and I always got what I wanted. Todd's courtesy and understanding of "customer service" makes it a joy to work with him. His great relationships with some of the best specialists out there is also something that Todd brought to the table. Todd suggested (but always did whatever we wanted) changes to our plans where it made sense to make changes -- we always discussed pros and cons and it was always done "my way", not "his". Framing, Electrical, Sheetrock, carpet, Other Services $18K; Having Todd on the job: PRICELESS. Not enough room for more.......
Description of Work: Todd took our detailed ideas for a remodel of a garage into two bedrooms, discussed options, and helped us come up with a workable plan. He found excellent HVAC, Sheetrock, electrical, and carpet vendors for the project, supervised their work, and did all coordination with and payments to subcontractors. Built framing for two bedrooms, three closets, a hallway, and a special "niche". Sheetrocked, ran completely new electrical wires, outlets, 3-way switches, fixtures, recessed fixtures, put a "finish coat" of "primer" paint on, carpeted, and installed moulding everywhere, stained, polyeurathaned, and installed interior doors. Installed two new metal exterior doors including a special custom-order door. Created special window extension jambs for a deep window-sill (almost window seats), replaced a window, and put a second window in. Took great care to install moulding for windows to address special weather concerns. Kept us informed! 400 other things which were above and beyond.

They had creative suggestions along the way but listened closely to what we were trying to accomplish. Extras and additions, although small were handled professionally and there were no surprises. He was totally helpful to me and when he came he also suggested a termite inspection and referred someone to me. When I called the referral he gave, he came out and inspected my house for free. Todd also came right away and I think he was so helpful and went out of his way. I would highly recommend him.
Description of Work: Todd came out and looked over my house for me and gave me an estimate of what it was going to cost to repair it. He said the entire structure of the roof needed to be replaced and he gave me an approximate price. He said there were some other minor repairs that also needed to be done.
