+ -1 moreDo not use Action Door - they override safety features and cheat Senior Citizens We had purchased the garage door opener from Sears and Action Door was repairing a neighbor's garage and came over and installed the opener. From the beginning , he was impatient and rude and did not want to answer my parents' questions. He took the box with the extra remote and the wireless keypad without installing it. When my parents asked him about the box, he said they did not need it. They did not realize we purchased the wireless remote. He charged them an additional $25 for another remote. The light in the garage door opener keeps fusing out. This never happened with the previous opener. The install was not done correctly. When my husband looked at the install, he noticed the safety wires that should be attached to the eyes were fused to each other in the opener. He overrode the safety features which is not according to code and we have a 3 year old daughter who visits her grandparents weekly. This is a safety hazard that we need to pay someone else to fix. We tried contacting them immediately after the install and his wife is the receptionist and she was very rude. We called back after we discovered the safety code violation and they said they will call us back and never did. They will not return our calls or our BBB inquiry.
Description of Work: Action Door installed a garage door opener at my elderly parents house.

+ -1 moreTHEY WERE ABLE TO FIX MY DOOR PROMPTLY. (MY CAR WAS LOCKED INSIDE AND I NEEDED TO PICK UP ONE OF MY CHILDREN!) THE SERVICE MAN WAS VERY POLITE.
Description of Work: REPLACED COILS, SET OPENERS, AND CHANGED BULB.
