Auto Tires
We went to Firestone to have the AC on our car looked at. It would cool
fine for approx. 10 minutes, and then stop cooling. After the repair for
$250, nothing had changed; on the way home the AC stopped working
again. We brought the car back, and after they "repaired" it for the 2nd
time and charged us another $150, still nothing had changed.

little agitated we returned to Firestone again. As they moved the car
into the shop, they ran one of the (4 week old) tires into the side of
the bridge crane and punctured the side wall. Then they came back into
the front of the shop, asking if we knew we had a flat time. I
immediately walked into the shop area and showed the manager how the
tire was punctured. He then offered to put on another tire that we had,
and I had to argue long that we had 4 matching tires, and that was not
going to change. Eventually he agreed. He then gave us a quote to
replace the AC compressor and evaporator for $1,400 without reimbursing
us for the $400 we already spent.
We left, and had the car repaired at another place for $1,100.
