Roof looks Great. Roofing went well except where new felt paper was to replaced. We noticed at one point near the end of the job they were not replacing it on my out building. We called them on it and they said yes it was supposed to be replaced and did so. We don't know how much was done on the house where the old felt was reused. It was later explained to me that if the "old felt" looked good enough they would reuse the old and not replace it as contracted to do. Also left too much cleanup that needed to done at the completion. Had to call them back multiple times to get that done correctly.  The soffit and trim work guys were the real problem. It took much longer than it should have and it was subpar work. Fit around both fans on both front and back porches. Gaps as wide as two inches had to be repaired and a couple of the pieces of aluminum covering the faceia boards had to be replaced. All faceia boards are already almost totally black from mold or mildew. I did the repair work around the fans. They took the fans down  to do the original work but said they were not electricians therefore they could not take them down to do the repair work.

Promised three days; took near three months. Damaged our new windows and exterior walls. My attorney had to make them repair the damages.

Drawdy is an excellent company.  The service was impeccable.  The workers were prompt, thorough, and very efficient.  Even though the cost was a bit steep, it was worth it.  I am proud of the investment, and my home looks brand new.  I even have ridge venting which helps to ventilate my home.  If you're looking for quality, choose Drawdy Roofing!

In January we sustained hail damage to our roof, We did not realize we had damage until April when we noticed that many of our neighbors were getting new roofs. We contacted Drawdy to check the roof and they found significant damage. When we contacted our insurance company, the representative from Drawdy met him and showed him the damage on the roof that he had found. They worked closely with our insurance company to keep our out-of-pocket costs to a minimum (deductible). Getting a new roof is never painless, but Drawdy made the experience as painless as possible.

The job went good. Until one month  in 2010 when a strong rain came through and winds were strong. All seemed good, however a couple of more rains and my wife pointed out some discoloration appearing in our living room ceiling. It appeared that water had leaked through our new roof and was getting to our ceiling. My wife asked that I contact the Drawdy roofing and let them know that our roof was leaking. The company sent out someone to check and they said that it was probably leaking around the chimney and that that was not caused by faulty roof. We were not happy with their explanation, they claimed that they did not replace the flashing around the chimney because it would have required them to do removal of siding and they didn't that kind of work. I asked if they would pay for the repainting of the ceiling and they said it was not caused by the roof leaking. When I asked what would they do to stop the leak around the chimney he said he would dend a man out to put some sealer around the area. A man came out about a week later, climbed up on the roof and appled some kind of black tar which we think stopped the leak. But my wife as angry that she had to pay another contractor to come out and repair and repaint the ceiling which cost and addittional $500.00. If we had known before that the chimney would require special work to insure a good roof we would have paid to do it right the first time. We would not recommend this roofer to anyone again without letting them know to be sure to ask for details regarding roofs with chimneys. We have since had the roof replaced again by another company who did tell us up front that it would require additional work to insure the roof was put on correctly to include replacing the flashing at the chimney which increased the cost by a few more dollars and put in contract that they would  be responsible for any damage caused by water leaking through any part of the roof.

Overall it was a fair job. We moved a few years after but had no problems up to then.

Overall experience was OK. However, he would not guarantee my stone chimney from leakage. He did place a rain diverter above the chimney and recaulked. The workers dropped a bundle of shingles on the roof, shaking the whole house and causing two small figurines inside the house to fall and break. I let this pass without mentioning it to him. Did request that the two attic exhaust fans be saved as replacements for the workshop fan, but the workers threw them away with the old shingles.

From start to finish I was extremely pleased. I called at least six other roofers -- 2 said they had too much work, 2 said they would come to look at the job but never came, and 2 never called back. I sure am glad these other firms didn't follow through! Mr. Drawdy came to my house within a few hours of when I called, was punctual and professional. The work began when he said it would and continued without delay. One Saturday morning his crew even waited until they knew we were awake before starting the work. His crew cleaned up each day before leaving. He also handled subcontracting of the facia repair and installation of gutters. He used quality contractors.
