Denson Moving Company

We were promised three movers and a truck with blankets and other equipment necessary for a move. It was understood by all they were paid by the hour. The movers showed up at the scheduled time. However, only two of the movers actually did any work and one acted as a "supervisor" (while he took frequent smoke breaks). They were slow moving. When we finally got to the other house, my friends and I assisted the movers to speed up the process. After looking over our furniture we found a large scratch across the top of our entertainment center, two knicks in our entertainment center, a scratch across our leather chair, and scratches on each leg of our pedastool kitchen table (all of which were not there prior to the move). My husband and I paid for the cheapest insurance (with a $300 deductable). Understanding (legally) we would have to pay for our damaged furniture and they were only responsible if our cost went over $300, I called the company to express my dissapointment with the services provided. After voicing my frustration in a calm manner, I was "handed off" in the middle of my conversation with an employee to the owner and then the owner of the company hung up on me. I would never refer anyone to this moving company. Overall, they demonstrated poor work ethic, poor customer service, and unprofessionalism.
