Paid $200 said they would return tomorrow to do job. Never showed up. Never accepted phone call and never return phone calls. They work security at Albany Civic Center and my daughter attended an event there. They told her have your mother call us. They will not take your phone calls. They were referred by Home Depot Beacon program. They have been removed from the program for scamming other people.

The two brothers were introduced to us by an employee of a national lumber/hardware chain. The Baker Brother's names are James and Tony. I never knew the address of the company but Baker's Brother's Construction popped up here when I started typing.
The first day, the two brothers (Baker Brothers), arrived late but
immaculate in matching blue polo shirts. Very polite, pleasant and went right
to work. Worked a few hours and said they would come back the next morning to
finish. By 11:00 they still were not here so I called & they said they got
held up but would be there by 1pm. Got here about 2. Were the same nice,
pleasant, quiet workers. Said they were finished about 2 1/2 hours later. There
were a lot of areas that needed more work but since I had the money already in
an envelope I gave it to them...What an idiot! Anyway, that is the last I have
seen of them. Called them the next day and they said they would be here that
afternoon. Never showed. Called them the next day and said I had errands. They
said for me to call them when I got back so they would know I was home. I did.
They said they would be here. Never showed again. This repeated and
repeated.The original work started on July 15th and ended on July 16th. It is
now August the 8th and I have another worker working on the ceiling redoing
what they did. He says they pulled both sides of the tape at once and didn't
give one side enough time to dry so that has added to the problem.It took him 4
days (only an hour or two each day) of redoing/letting it dry and sanding to get it
where it should have been with the first workers.
