. He is not really a landscaping company. He goes to a lot of these Home Shows where he sets up shop and gets people in. He markets himself as a landscape architect. His name is Jack Mize and his wife or the significant other’s name is Carla Field. He has done so much damage not just to me but to other people as well. He destroyed one person’s property to the tune of $35000. He has been investigated by the State. He is not a licensed landscape architect. To be one he needs to be licensed with the State of Georgia with the Secretary of State Office and he is not. He has been investigated by them personally because I was one of the people who brought the complaint against him. What he does is that he brings you a contract and he says that if I allow him to show my property when we are done then he would discount and x amount from the contract. Then he comes in and begins the job with no real intention of finishing it. Stops midway till you fire him and then as soon as you fire him he says he would sue me for the full amount of the contract including the amount that he was going to knock off because you are going to say how wonderful his job was. So he is going to sue you for $35000. Now when he left my place I paid him, and I went back and I tracked every payment I had made to him for material and for labor and if we were not even then he was a bit ahead of me for he has had more money out of me than he should have. I had spent about $12000. So when I finally had him leave he was so nasty and so threatening that I had to basically throw him out of my property. The same thing happened with somebody else also. When the investigator when out to investigate him, he got so nasty with the detective. I actually sent detective out that the detective had to threaten to put him in jail. He was so threatening. They guy is a serious real nut case. He has been to court before. When he makes a demand and you don’t pay him he puts a lean on your house. The lean finally expired on my house. But he has been threatening to sue me for a year if I did not pay him now. I knew he was not licensed and reported him. So the odds coming against me is pretty much slim to none. Any attorney who would have heard what I said that I had it in writing that he is a landscape architect and he finds out he is not licensed no attorney would want to waste his time on the case and he is going to lose. So I didn’t think he will ever come to that. But none the less he through the motions of being a real nuisance putting a lean on my house. He did the same thing with the other person. He put a lean on her house. So this man is crazy. He is nasty. He is threatening. He is ex-military so he knows to threaten. He is very intimidating. So to spite he left my gate open one time. He for forgot to close my gate and I have dogs. I made a big point to make sure that my gates are closed all the time. I believe he did it intentionally to let my dogs out. This COLOR SCAPES person I cannot say enough bad about him. One thing I can say absolutely is that he is not licensed. I say it with a tremendous caution to other people. Nobody should use him. I have researched and there are previous law suits that he had filled against other people. He is just a disaster waiting to happen if you hire him. Price wise he has no intention to finish the job. Punctuality wise he does not show up till after 3 o’clock. He is not a professional. When you are landscape architect in Atlanta unless you are licensed you are not allowed to send and sell your landscape plan. You cannot go around drawing plans and say you are an architect. Well that is what he did. We are talking about outright illegal activity. So we are talking about acting outside the scope of law codes in Atlanta.
