I am a professional HVAC contractor and I called and got 11 estimates for painting my home, repairing a lot of wood and replacing some siding. Being in the residential service industry myself, I could tell immediately the owner that came out and gave me an estimate had the professionalism and skill set that I needed inorder to do the job correctly.
