As always, Shriver Mechanical performed above and beyond our expectations. Punctual, thorough and nothing was out of place after the tech left. Their maintenance contract is reasonably priced and the company calls to schedule a maintenance appointment per our contract. Changing our Heating and A/C Filters is difficult, so I am thankful we have Shriver.

Technician, Jacob Heard, has been here several times previously. He is punctual, professional, efficient, very pleasant. The service secretary is very pleasant and knowledgeable. I was referred to Shriver Mechanical by a work friend several years ago. Continue to be very satisfied by the service

Very pleased with Shriver , and the job they did.  Air and heat  working fine now the duct work has been taken care of . So pleased in fact we plan on using them again in the future for an up coming project  .  They are  prompt , courteous, very clean and  informative, any questions we had  they were happy to answer. The Technician explained in detail the problem after solving the malfunction. It was relatively minor and we were pleased to have the heat restored so quickly. While it was a weekend call out, Shriver did not charge extra since we have a maintenance contract with them. Our first experience was the installation of a air conditioning unit in the summer of 2014. Again Shriver was very professional and equally as competitively priced. The installation went a'wit out a hitch" and finished as promised. This is a first class organization and we do not hesitate to recommend them for your Heating and Air Conditioning needs.

Jeff Shriver quoted my upstairs AS A/C last year and I told him I expected to replace my first floor A/C this year.  I had such a great experience with Shriver Mechanical during the quoting and installation last year that they were my first choice for replacing my second A/C today.  Though Trane and American Standard are both manufactured by the same company and are mechanically the same equipment, American Standard is less expensive and recommended by Consumer Reports.  The maintenance/repair stats for both brands are the same with American Standard slightly better than Trane.  Shriver Mechanical is one of American Standard's Customer Care certified dealers, so they are up-to-date with American Standard equipment.  It's a no-brainer to pay less and get better maintenance/lower repairs with American Standard.  
I also have contracted with Shriver Mechanical to do my twice a year HVAC maintenance on both my units.  
A major plus with Shriver Mechanical is that when you have an emergency, they really do value their customers.  They don't put you on the waitlist nearly a week long when one of your units fails just because you have a second functioning one.  They come out promptly.  
Shriver Mechanical honors its word and word-of-mouth is their best advertisement of the quality work and honesty they deliver.

Excellent.  Already knew that one of my A/C units would need to be replaced but asked to see if it would last long enough before I could replace it.  Jeff Shriver has my trust.  He installed one of my A/C units last year and I told him that when my second A/C needed to be replaced this year, I would contact him. 

He explained the difference between the Trane and American Standard A/C units to me since I knew that both are manufactured by the same company.  I prefer the American Standard and have just called him to have my second A/C unit replaced.  He is very easy to work with and doesn't hide in his truck while doing the estimate.  He checks the line size to be sure that the new A/C will not overload it.  He's pretty transparent which is why he's trustworthy.

His technicians are equally honest.  They're not pushy sales people. 

Paid the $85 diagnostic visit and Troy said if I had problems, the $85 would be applied to any service in the next 30 days.  As I experienced before, Shriver Mechanical does not cheat customers, so Troy did not manufacture a problem to charge more.  He said nothing needed to be fixed or replaced but to call I have problems, which hopefully I won't if we don't have another spell of sub-freezing temps.

The furnace stopped heating and we called the contractor.  He was very polite and friendly.  I watched as he opened the furnace and tested it.  He went through the steps so I could understand the issue.  He quickly determined the cause of the problem and explained his reasoning.  He let me know what part was needed and then proceeded to see if there were any local warehouses that had one in stock (which there wasn't), and he would have to order the part.  He let me know that even though they said they would have the part by Monday (this was Friday), he expected that it would be delayed due to the Christmas rush.  He gave me a quote for the full price, but he didn't break it down by parts & labor (this would have been nice, but I didn't ask).
He arrived the following Thursday to install the part, saying it had been delayed as he expected.  After arriving, he quickly had it installed and working.

Excellent installation.  Worked with Jeff Shriver (owner) in obtaining very reasonable quote that included 2 year labor warranty.  He even registered my new American Standard air-conditioner for the manufacturer's Limited Warranty (in addition to the Base Warranty).  Jacob installed the evaporator coil in my attic which recently had eShield radiant barrier laid on the attic floor.  He was very careful not to damage it and there was no damage, despite him having to work with metal.  Doug install the condensor outside and corrected the fuse (had 50 AMP and replaced with 15 AMP).  I asked for the freon to be used to charge my other old Rheem unit, which I expect to replace in 18 months.  I will definitely be contacting Jeff again for my Rheem replacement and when I need to replace my furnace in my attic. 
I don't think there is a more pleasant and honest team to work.  In industry that has a notorious reputation of hidden costs and deceptive practices, what a reassurance to know you actually have an ally.  They really went over and above to ensure quality labor.
What didn't Shriver Mechanical do?  They didn't cheat me.

The service turned out very well. The weather was really nasty and they worked through that and got the work done.

They have always been excellent. If something isn't right, he makes sure to make it right. He goes the extra mile, and always presents all the options.

They are excellent. He is very honey and has a lot of integrity.

I cannot say enough good things about them. They are very honest and reasonable. They do everything in their power to keep your system running as long as possible. I really love their technician David.  I have only had one bad experience, and that was with their technician Troy.
