S & J Roofing

Mr. Keith Spruill was very polite and curdious. Provided an endless amount of information to be able to make an informative decision when it came to choosing a roofing company. Mr. Spruill and his team was very professional. I knew exactly what would occur and when.. I could not of expected any better. I would definitely recommend Keith Spruill and his team to others. What really amazed me was that Mr. Keith Spruill was actually on the jobsite working with his team and overseeing the entire job.  Mr. Keith Spruill was eager to address any concerns I may have had during the job and resolved them immediately.

They were courteous, efficient, and did exactly what they said they would do.  The roof looks great and we have had not problems with the roof.

It went well. They completed the work I asked them to do. The cleanup was not as I had expected. I brought this to their attention and they made the correction. Juan was a very nice person to work with. He was the salesperson and supervised the workers as well.

Since S & J repaired our roof, we’ve had a nice/moderate amount of rain and haven’t had any problems.  I also wanted to talk about how they responded.  They’ve been really professional throughout the experience.  We had to reschedule a few times so we gave them a “B” in punctuality but they were very professional otherwise.  Sometimes working with contractors can be dicey.  This company was really good about working with me to make sure that I had all of the necessary paperwork to protect myself.  I know that lack of proper documentation can cause many problems with work like this, and S & J took extra measures to make sure that we were totally covered.  They even ended up doing a little extra work and stuck to the original price.

After 3-4 roofing estimates, we found that materials, price and workmanship were the primary factors in choosing a roofing contractor. All of the contractors seemed to be using the GAF full line products and included fiberglass underlayment and full ridge vents, (ours include new waste stack boots and extra roof sheathing for repairs). Our contractor's price was middle of the estimates. Workmanship is the hardest to deter as it cannot be determined after the job has been completed and sometimes not for years later. We were quite impressed with the speed and professional shown by S & J's roofing crew. We were in our house during the roofing and gutter job; our daily routine was barely interupted. They removed all the old shingles from the roof and replaced any bad boards that needed replacing. They completely picked up every bit of old shingles. felt paper and nails from around the house, including from our trees,shrubbery and yard. Also coordinating with our contractor were the replacement of the gutters which he was able to match to the trim paint on the house. We were very pleased with the outcome of the job and would use them again.
