John Andrew Flooring Inc
About us
John Andrew Flooring is a family owned & operated business with its roots deeply entrenched in the community. The company was founded in 1996 by John Andrew Asciutto; with the simple idea of bringing back craftsmanship and customer service to the hardwood flooring industry. An idea that had John both working and selling all the jobs; and his girlfiriend Caprice answering calls and maintaining the company books. It was hard work and a focus on customer satisfaction that allowed the business to survive during the first tentative years. A reputation for dealing with customers honestly and providing true craftsmanship is what helped the business to flourished and grow. Additional DBA - John Andrew Flooring & Restoration.

This is the 2nd time that i used John Andrew. The quality of work is great, but their contract price is not the price they charged either time.
"Thank you very much, we appreciate your business! Please keep us in mind for any future projects you and family/friends may have!"
Because of their lack of service after the floors were done, we will find someone else to do the upstairs floors.

"I believe the information given by the member is incomplete & misleading. The original quote provided the customer with 2 different options: sanding the floors or cleaning/recoating the floors. The cleaning/recoating is a less extensive process than sanding; therefore significantly less expensive. I did inform and write on the estimate both the differences in the processes and the costs. The quote also included a warning that various cleaners and/or other polyurethane like products were previously used on the floors and that there could be adhesion issues with the new floor finish. The customer is correct in stating that there was some debris trapped underneath the first coat of polyurethane applied. We addressed this issue by re-sanding the floors and applying new polyurethane, same as before. It was only after the moving company scratched the new finish that the customer mentioned having any issues with the work done. In areas it seems as if the polyurethane is having trouble adhering to the floors; but our company did follow manufacturer procedures to help ensure the best conditions for new layers of finish. As mentioned previously there was a myriad of products used on the floors that could cause adhesion issues. The customer chose a less expensive option, with risks and is now blaming our company for their displeasure. The issues that are being brought to light are just a ploy by the customer to relieve themselves of the burden of their informed decision."
