One of my air conditioning units was not providing any cool air, although it otherwise appeared to be operating properly. I suspected it was low on refrigerant, so I called around to see who offered the best price on refrigerant. I checked with a half dozen highly rated companies on Angie's List, and found that Exact Comfort beat the competition by a significant margin. When I called to make an appointment, I explained my situation, and they went out of their way to accommodate me. Despite having a full schedule, David said he'd come by the next evening after he finished his scheduled service calls. He called me a few hours prior to his arrival to give me an estimated arrival time, and he showed up at exactly that time (7 PM). He was friendly and professional. He confirmed that I didn't need a new air conditioner, and that it was just low on refrigerant. He added refrigerant to the system, and even checked my other system's refrigerant level at no extra charge. While he was working on my system, he took a phone call from another customer, and it was clear that he went well out of his way to satisfy that customer. Everything he said and did made it clear to me that he is knowledgeable and experienced. I would not hesitate to hire him again.

For nearly 7 years we lived without AC in our upstairs, mostly because of finances and also scared of being taken advantage by AC companies. Of everyone we interviewed (and it was a ton of companies!), we decided to go with Exact Comfort. Why? Because David came highly recommended by friends, and then when we met him, he was extremely knowledgeable, and he was extremely honest. He was very open and honest about what we did and did not need. He didn't try to sell us anything more than what we needed. As well, he gave us suggestions that none of the larger companies gave us, such as adding additional returns in the bedrooms! And I am so glad he did that! In total, we got two 2 ton 14/16 SEER, two 60 BTU VSP Furnaces, all new duct work through the top floor of our house, 4 new returns in the bedrooms, Accuclean Air Filters, 2 touch screen thermostats, and the drains outside. These were all American Standard. All of this, and it was much more affordable than the other companies. I never felt David was trying to take advantage of me; he seems to really care about being fair and giving a good price to his costumers. The installation was estimated to take 2 days, but it did take 3. I was fine with that as David continually was going above and beyond in the work. The drain pipes outside, he carefully extended them away from the house (which he wasn't at all obligated to do) and he thoughtfully placed the spout next to my hydrangea bush to ensure it would get extra water. As well, when the installation was completed, he told me to stand in the place where I do most of my work in the kitchen, and I noticed he had again thoughtfully pointed the register right in that direction! (seems little, but I thought it was so thoughtful, and that means a lot!) Overall I am beyond happy with our new systems and so pleased with the work David and his men did. His men were incredibly polite. My mind is genuinely at ease after my experience with Exact Comfort. I couldn't be more pleased. Thanks so much David for everything!

This is the second time I have used Exact for repairs at several different properties I own, and have been more than satisfied with the response to my call, the being on time, and the excellent service they provide.

David (President of Exact Comfort) informed us of a package deal from American Standard for a new furnace, air conditioner, and evaporator coil. We got it. He and his 2-man crew installed everything in one day, on-time, on budget, and with no muss or fuss, Exact Comfort returned our phone calls right away, in our case by David himself. He and his crew are extremely professional and were respectful of our home when working in it. I think they depend on word of mouth rather than expensive advertising. We have used their seasonal check-ups for years and have never been disappointed or overcharged. I highly recommend Exact Comfort.

Called Exact Comfort Airconditioning & Heating Inc to check system not cooling. They arrived within 24 hours of my call and determined that the system ( 13 yrs old ) was leaking freon from the internal coil, which would require a replacement and due to the age of the entire system that changing out the external unit would be recommended as well. The system that came with the house was a construction grade York system and in all likelihood was on its last legs. They scheduled a replacement date four days later and replaced the entire system with an American Standard system in an upgraded version. They arrived on the scheduled date on time in the morning with a call 30 mins prior to arrival confirming the date and time. The Exact Aircondition and Heating team of three arrived as scheduled with all that was necessary to complete the job and 2 1/2 hours later had completed the job. They also added a programable thermostate at no charge. Their work and attitude was professional and thorough. Each member of the team was extremely knowledgeable and courteous. The work was well done and the clean up afterward was complete and professional. I will definitely call this team again when my upstairs unit fails in the not too distant future.

They have always been responsive and their prices are reasonable. Our old contractor retired and referred all of his business to Exact Comfort. We find that they are on time, they don’t try to sell us services that we don’t need, and they are very flexible about scheduling. They set a two hour window and they call when they are on their way. They were really good about changing our appointment when we had to cancel at the last minute.

David does a great job and I will use him again, but he is sometimes hard to reach and get a call back from. Also this last time he was late and did not call to let me know. However his work has always been excellent and his price is always good.

While he did arrive about 30 minutes late, everything else went smoothly. I honestly thought my repair would be over $300, so obviously I was overjoyed it was only $165. He was well groomed, uniformed, and VERY polite. He even asked permission to pet my dog! That was a nice touch. I strongly recommend Exact Comfort!

Our AC didn't seem to be cooling well so we found a coupon for Exact Comfort and decided to give them a try. The gentleman who came to the house was so helpful and polite. He checked the unit and it was working well. He added something maybe "coolant" and cleaned it thoroughly. He showed us how to maintain our unit and how and when to clean it. What surprised me the most is that he didn't try to up-sell anything. He let us know our system was working and then he explained the other reasons our house wasn't staying cool. He also explained how air-conditioners are rated; basically he spent a lot of time working with us for very little money. I would call them again for a bigger job because I feel they are trustworthy and will only fix what is broken and not try to sell you something you don't need.

I had called Moncrief Heating & AC because Angie's list had rated this company highly, plus there was to be a coupon discount. Why a representative from Exact was sent out is still a question in my mind. I would've appreciated the coupon discount. However, David came before I'd wanted. I had to leave work to meet him at my residence. I told the company rep at Montcrief I'd be getting off work at 2 p.m. She called around 12 noon to say the repairman was on his way. I was required to stay later at work to make up the time I ''lost'' due to meeting David. David was professional and courteous. My heater is working perfectly.
