Donald Lantzer was hired to paint and redo existing cabinets, to add trim to the cabinet doors and put in a tile backsplash. He painted the doors and cabinets so poorly that the paint is now coming off in rubbery sheets. He added trim to the doors, but used old wood and the finished doors are rough and pitted around the edges. The width of the additional wood was not taken into account on the drawers and one of the drawers can only be opened half way because it bumps into another one. The doors were hung so that their height varied and they were not fit flush with the cabinets. The door knobs were different heights. The tile for the backsplash was poorly cut and set unevenly. [I had someone else finish that part of the work.] But the most upsetting part of the work was that the paint on the cabinets is now peeling off in sheets. I have to redo all the paint work. And when all these items were brought to Mr. Lantzer's attention, his response was "It's not my fault." I am now in the process of stripping the cabinet paint and trying to make them look good.
