+ 1 moreThey are great, I have worked with them several times. I have recommended them to other people who have also been happy with their work. They are the best contractors I have ever worked with. They are dependable and do a great job. They are the only people I would work with from here on out!
Description of Work: I had them paint the outside of my house and replace my front door and the frame around it. I also had them remodel two bathrooms.

+ -1 moreThey were there every day around 8:30 a.m. in the morning and were finishing up when I got home around 5:30 or 6:00 p.m. in the afternoon. For the 1st two weeks, typically there were 4-5 workers at the house every day so the majority of the job was completed in less time than was initially estimated. Each day when they left, they cleaned up their work area and the garage area that they were using to store their materials. At the end of the job, they even cleaned my windows, inside and out which I was not expecting. The project manager was easy to reach and I usually spoke with him daily. Everyone I dealt with during the course of the project was very professional and made this job enjoyable rather than painful as so often happens with contractors.
Description of Work: Porter Construction completely gutted and remodeled my master bedroom and bath. This included replacing all woodwork, adding built-in bookshelves in the bedroom, removing wallpaper, replacing cabinets, replacing tile in shower and around garden tub, paint, lighting fixtures, countertops, mirrors, carpet, etc. There is nothing left in either room that was there when they started, right down to the AC vents and window hardware.
