Bank's Heating & Air

It went great. It all started when Jay Banks (the owner) and his sister Laurie Banks came out on Saturday 6/20/15 to give me a quote.  My old system was kaput.  Coils were very rusted and leaking leading to the AC unit freezing.  I talked to 8 potential contractors.  All were about the same in terms of cost (with some exceptions)....however, Banks was the ONLY one that said to me first, let me look at the system to determine if it REALLY needed to be replaced.  No one else did that  - including Appliance Comfort Air of Georgia (the chosen supplier for my warranty company - American Home Shield).  His no nonsense approach to solving my problem was awesome.  He had outstanding technical skills.  
I had been without A/C for almost 2 weeks - thanks in part for the lack of responsiveness of American Home Shield and Appliance Comfort Air of Georgia.  Moreover, American Home Shield wasn't going to honor their warranty.  They wanted me to pay almost $1,000 in "non-covered" charges and also wouldn't replace the outside condenser as recommended by their contractor - only the coils.  Banks Heating & Air gave me a competitive quote and gave me alot of product upgrades.  Their installation was very clean and professional.  I'd recommend them to anyone.  You should at least consider giving Banks a shot - I believe you won't be disappointed.
FYI - if you have a home warranty with American Home Shield, it's not worth the paper it's written on they will not replace anything.  They will continue fixes and wear you out.  If you get one with the sale of a house, don't trust it.

They arrived when they said they would, completed all the work required and explained their findings quickly and professionally. They discussed additional work that was needed, which I will get scheduled. Their office even called to follow up on the visit! I was very pleased with their work and will use them again.

He was very friendly and explained to me that the furnace was safe and not needing replaced. He also helped me throw a sink in that I was having trouble with too.
