It went extremely well. Tim paid attention to detail. My home is so beautiful inside and out. He listens to what the customer wants and spends a lot of time prepping before he paints. He is punctual and easy to work with. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a good painter. I would hire him again without a doubt.

Very well. Tim Brown is very professional, and quite focused on customer satisfaction. I'm an extremely picky customer and we had a couple of minor issues that I called about well after Alpha1 completed the job. Tim came out to make it right within a couple of days, and took care of the issues without the least hesitation. I'd hire Alpha1 again anytime.

Tim Brown (and his assistant) performed impeccably! As a matter of fact, I can't think of enough superlatives to use in describing my experience with Tim. He arrived on time, worked swiftly without compromising quality, and went above and beyond in providing services that I'd not even requested. I have some mobility issues and, despite my best efforts, I had not been able to move or remove a number of items so that surfaces were easily available. Tim--without complaint--assisted in these tasks and more. He and his colleague cheerfully worked long hours, even weekends and a holiday, to help meet my deadline (I had other home improvements planned, would that they had gone as smoothly!). He has even called repeatedly offering to come back and repair damage done as a result of further remodeling and repair activities. I cannot imagine hiring anyone else should I need additional painting services in the future. If there were a score higher than the "A" offered by Angie's List, I'd award it to this business without hesitation.

Tim Brown of Alpha 1 Painting is laser-focused on customer satisfaction. Yes, his crew are excellent painters. Yes, they were prompt, polite, and got right down to business. But the most impressive thing is that Tim refused to give up until every little detail was completed to our satisfaction and delight. The job was a kitchen/dining room renovation for my elderly parents, in their 28 year old home, with 28 year old unprimed wallpaper. To save us money and avoid damaged drywall, Tim suggested that he could paint over the wallpaper, and assured us the result would be very satisfactory. With some skepticism we agreed. Lo and behold, the end product was beautiful. You'd never know there was wallpaper underneath. It was amazing. Likewise, the old cabinets were painted to perfection. All the furniture and shelves that had been removed to facilitate the work were returned to their former locations and the work area was left clean and in perfect condition. This company gets an A+!

Fantastic, awesome, beautiful -- wow! The work done by Tim Brown and his assistant was beyond what we ever hoped for. Perfection, absolute perfection. We are so lucky to have found him. These were big jobs because there was much repair work to be done (nail pops, sparkling holes, etc). In one room, they needed to do three coats (and no extra charge for their labor!). Every positive comment made by members regarding Alpha1 Painting is absolutely accurate. We are very picky about how work is done/looks. Not only is the work Tim does wonderful, but he goes above and beyond what anybody else would likely do. He even offered suggestions, i.e. using my colors in a little different way than I had planned. His suggestions were spot on. Although our home needs a massive amount of painting to be done, we had him start with these two rooms to see how it went. We absolutely will be hiring Tim Brown to do all of the rest of our painting. And I can't wait to get him going on the other work!

Arrived when they said they would, worked with us on every aspect of the job. Did an outstanding job overall. I will hire them again when I need more work done.

I really, really liked the way my house was painted by Tim and his employee. They were both courteous, and respected my house... which is important to me. The paint job was also excellent! Everything came out perfectly for us. At one point, we had not provided enough paint but they went out of their way to buy more so that the job could get done the way I wanted. We reimbursed them, of course, but the fact that they took the time to do this showed their dedication to a job well done. I highly appreciated that. A little effort goes a very long way, at least with me. As well, their prices were really good. I think they had been the cheapest of all painters we researched. And the most impressive thing that stood out in my mind, was that they didn't need any tape! ...I guess that comes with their experience, which is about 30 years if I recall correctly.
I would definitely look them up again in the future, which we most likely will since there are other rooms I'd like to have painted. Awesome, awesome painters!

We can't rave enough.  These guys didn't just paint; they transformed our entire house  They repaired walls that for 20 yrs had been neglected or abused by kids.  Their repairs are perfection.  The walls where they removed wallpaper are smooth as eggshell.  Windows had leaked badly from the outside, which we repaired a few years ago, but the inside windowsills and the walls around them were destroyed.  Now both are flawless and look if they are brand new.  When they first did white trim in the kitchen, they didn't feel good about the new white clashing with my ever-so-slightly yellowed white cabinets, so they asked if they could take a drawer in order to match the sides of the island and fridge surround to the cabinets.  And they were right:  The matched paint looks so much better than the other would have looked next to the cabinets.
I had planned to do the master closet in a beige, but Larry encouraged me to paint that white for the light, which I did, and I'm glad he felt free to recommend it.
Another point I have to stress:  They guys were in our house 8+ hours a day for three weeks.  They arrived on time and would go straight to work.  They were extremely pleasant, but not invasive.  And they don't chat -- not even with eachother!  They just work -- as Tim pointed out the day we first met him -- using a roller or a brush on every square inch.  And for a large wall in our great room, they painted, repaired, painted another coat, repaired again, and painted a third coat.  If that's not perfection, I don't know what is!
We have a ceiling-high built in bookcase that is a monster, and they repaired shelves, even turning one that had bowed so that it would correct itself over time.  Of course the cat walked across two of the shelves as the bottoms were drying.  I apologized and said it didn't matter, but Tim insisted on repainting the shelf!
While painting the garage they recommend better lighting, and even recommended the light fixtures, which they then picked up and installed like it was nothing.  
Believe it or not,  I'm still not mentioning all the extra touches they added on their own to finish the job (i.e., they even installed a toilet paper hanger and towel rack in a bathroom.)  I could go on!
Just believe me when I say these guys are consummate professionals who raise house painting to an art.  :)

It was a blessing to have Tim and his crew work in our home. We were so afraid this would be a nightmare, having all the work done. But Tim made it easy for my family and I. The crew was very respectful of our home. While it is very important to do a job well, it is equally important to give excellent customer service. Oh, and I must mention they cleaned up their mess before leaving EVERYDAY, OMGoodness, what a plus that was. Yes, they really are the best.
The price include material and labor. WOW!

Tim and his crew did a fantastic job.  He helped explain different options and paint choices for each project and presented all material costs with receipts. Tim is hands on and does the work himself with his crew.  I was very comfortable having them in my house. He and his crew were very responsive and punctual and he even went the extra mile and didn't charge for extra work he did due to a glitch in something that was beyond his control. Tim was the sixth painter I called and I finally settled on him because he was personable, easy to reach and his prices were realistic, unlike some of the other quotes that were almost three times the amount he quoted.

I am glad that I chose Alpha1 to do the work in my home. Tim and his crew were extremely professional conscientious and thorough. They understood not only my requests in terms of color and quality of paint. The also understood my inability to put things back on the walls. They replaced all pictures and decorative items just the way that they had found them. I recommend Tim and his crew without reservation.

Tim and his crew came on time with friendly and professional attitudes. They worked hard all day, with few breaks and stayed till 7:30 at night to complete the job. They cleaned everything and left my home in perfect order. Earlier this year, I had done alot of painting myself to save money, but couldn't reach the very tall part of the walls and certainly not the 20 foot ceilings. Tim came and gave me a price to finish my work. I knew when I met him that he was trustworthy and very fair in his quote. I did have a couple of other quotes to compare, but his was very fair and I could not be more pleased that I chose him. I will recommend him to my friends and you should consider him as well. Tim was very accommodating regarding my start date.  They arrived on time and finished a perfect job in what I consider record time.  They finished the job in less than 5 hours!   They accomplished the job with precision and cleanliness.

I cannot recommend Alpha 1 painting enough! I called on Monday and they were able to squeeze me in on Wednesday. I just bought a foreclosure which had blood red walls, black ceilings, and just shoddy painting all around. They managed to paint everything I asked for in one day at a price 1/2 of what others had quoted me for. They were incredibly professional, kind, and easy going.
