Dear Lake City Animal Hospital, I am sending this email in hopes of having a positive response from your Hospital, in response to a misdiagnosis on four visits from your Hospital. My Lili Rebello was suffering from eye pain. I brought her in on March 13th, 2020 and March 16th, 2020 and she was seen by Dr. Daniel Zachery and Dr. Toby Carmichael JR. said it was an ulcer and prescribed eye drops. Lili’s checkup was on March 24th, 2020 and March 26th, also said ulcer and to continue with eye drops prescribed. Lili was suffering before the appointment on continued after appointment on all appointment. She was unable to eat, play, run everything a dog should do. Nothing your Hospital helped with. I very disappointed how your Hospital never referred me to an eye doctor for animals. Lili could have continued to suffer with a misdiagnosis even more if I didn’t look into an eye doctor. Her pain is beyond words. I had faith in medical centers to help and treat. Sorry your hospital failed all four appointments. I took Lili to Animal Eye Specialist Dr. Tracy King on April 13th, 2020 and she was diagnostic with an Ectopic Cilia and treated. After her procedure I took Lili home to recover. She rested for about 4 hours. Then she was back to happy Lili running, jumping and playing. I asked a full refund for all my expenses and also send a lot of emails and the clinic does not care . Horrible experience.

I am happy with this provider as my dog's primary vet for the last 5 years or so. She has recently moved into the elderly category and is now requiring extra care, which Acworth Animal Hospital has been able to provide. There are several vets there and I have seen a handful of them so I can't speak to any specific vet but overall I am happy. There have been some inconsistencies with recommendations for arthritis treatment, but I am happy with the final answer that I received. The prices are great and the vets are competent. They seem to care about my dog, too, so that's a plus!

Tried to ask about why my dog might be limping and the vet said, yeah, my dog does that, too sometimes but I never could figure out what it was. Seriously?

Not pushy and caring. Seems very competent. Lower than MA prices.

I did have to pay extra to have my cats ears cleaned out but it was well worth it as he had ear mites. The vet was very responsive and told me to keep my cats ears clean until the mites totally went away. The office was very clean and didn't smell like a normal vet clinic.
