They showed up on time. They went to work and completed the job and tested the changes to ensure that the new keys worked on all locks. They honored the Angie' s List discounts without a problem. Very good. I got Kenny's name and contact number from another locksmith in the local area. Based on the nature of the problem I was having with a lock on the front door to my house, it was recommended that I should give him a call. I called Kenny on 10/21/2010, explained what my problem was, and an appointment was made for the next day. During our conversation, Kenny informed me that he would have to go to his supplier the first thing in the morning, and that he would call me when leaving as I would be his first appointment. Kenny called the next morning, 10/22, to say he was on his way from his supplier. Having no problems with traffic on his way to my house, Kenny showed up earlier than expected, and presented his business card as an introduction. After the work was completed, I asked him if he could take a look at an interior door I was having a problem with. He was kind enough to take a few extra minutes to make a quick diagnosis, and then he made a simple modification to the lock plate, solving that particular problem at no extra charge. Having been burned by one of those Israeli locksmith scam artists before, paying an outrageous price for a simple fix to the same front door lock (and not knowing the difference), I thought the type of service I got from Kenny had gone the way of the dinosaur. The recommendation and service I got was worth the call.

I own a 2000 Ford F150 truck. I lost my key to my truck on the weekend. I called around to get a locksmith to come out to make a new key for me. I was quoted prices as high as $400.00. Some people even told me that I would have to wait till the following Monday and have my truck towed to the Ford dealer to make a key for me. This is when I learned that my Ford truck has a computer chip inside the head of the key. And most locksmiths can't make them. I checked with Angie's list and I came across Stephen's Locksmith Service in Hiram, Georgia. I called him to see if he was able to make me a computer chip key. He told me NO but another local locksmith could help me out. He told me to call Kenny from AA Lock & Key and he is located in Dallas, Georgia. He told me straight out that he is very honest and a good guy for the job. I hung up the phone with Stephens Locksmith Service and I called Kenny and told him that Stephen has referred me. He was so nice to me on the phone. He took down my information and was at my house in about 30 minutes. It took him about 20 minutes to make the new key and then he said that he must program it, that took about another 15 minutes and the key was finished. The best part was he came to my house on a Sunday afternoon and within an hour I had a new key for my truck. Not only was he professional but he did not charge me anything extra for coming to me on a Sunday. He told me that is his normal everyday price for the type of vehicle I have.
