On 4/2/2026 I paid Mr. Garcia in person via a TD Bank personal check # 63 made out to PatchMaster in the sum of $100.00 USD as a deposit on a $1500.00 USD signed contract. On 4/42026 I requested an insurance certificate of liability and workman's compensation be provided me before any work could commence. Mr. Angel Garcia the owner assured me he did indeed have a certificate of insurance and would provide same on 4/7/2026 which he did not. I rang Mr. Garcia on 4/9/2026 @ 10:am and he told me the certificate was at his house, and I would receive it on 4/10/2026. Again, a certificate was not received. I rang Mr. Garcia again on 4/17/2026 @ 10:00 am and he informed me that his insurance broker sent me the certificate via text which I never received. I requested the name and telephone number of PatchMasters insurance agent and was denied same by Mr. Garcia. At this point it was obvious Mr. Garcia was dragging me along, so I rang him again on 4/17/2026 @ 5:00pm and informed him I was negating the contract due to PatchMaster not providing a proof of insurance breach. He told me he would refund my $100.00 USD payment and that his accounting firm only cuts checks every other Thursday which I found odd. He then told me he would ring me on 4/20/2026 to provide me the exact date my deposit refund would be issued. Once again Mr. Garcia did not keep his word to ring me on 4/20/2026. I rand him twice @ 5:00 pm and he hung up both times after answering. I wrote to him via email and text informing him should I not receive payment by 5/2/2026 I would pursue every consumer option available to me by law. On PatchMaters Terms of Service line 4.) clearly states in the event of a customer cancellation deposits are subject to a service call fee of up to $100.00 USD. However please note I negated the contract due to Patchmasters refusal to provide proof of insurance which his presentation literature clearly states all PatchMaster technicians are licensed and insured in drywall repair and installation. Finally, I informed Mr. Garcia I would not be swindled yet offered him a fair off ramp to refund me and let bygones be bygones. To date he has not responded nor refunded me.

Angel was paid in full by me 5 weeks ago. I paid him in the afternoon; that night, I discovered drywall had fallen out in one area. Texted him that night, with pictures. He stopped by the next day and said heâ d be back to fix it. Since then, he says heâ ll be over â next weekâ but doesnâ t show up; says he will call me back, but doesnâ t. I would not recommend this man and business. Thereâ s a lack of integrity and honesty
.
Very friendly and professional workers.
He stayed in contact, supplied what was needed and kept his word. I was satisfied with the work. He left behind pieces of drywall in my garage not used in job. Not sure how to dispose of them. I would hire again if needed.
Very professional and clean!
Meticulous. Skilled. Name says it all.
On time, good job, respectful workers.
would recommend
All work was done well just think it was crazy expensive
Great experience with Angel.
Good experience!
