Mobile Detailers - On the spot detailing

Having an older vehicle many detailers are a little concerned with the outcome. Being fully aware of the vehicles age and history I think a down deep cleaning is important to maintaining the life and presence of the vehicle. I did not fully understand all the various chemicals, cleaners, oxidizers, etc....that are possible choices when detailing a car so I asked the detailer to do the best job possible with what was recommended by his profession. He did a great job.

Shawn came out on a Sunday (at our request) and did a very thorough detailing on our very dirty vehicle. He did a thoroughly excellent job and we were extremely pleased with the results. We will definitely hire this company again!

The wax job was really good. Once we explained the offer, the guy did a nice job. Once we got an initial miscommunication clear, it was fine. They do things you normally don't do in a normal detail. I thought their prices were fair for that.

The employee showed up early and did a wonderful job. Both vehicles look like new and smell great. Headlights look great, too.The vehicles were worked on for a total of eight hours, and it reflected in their work. Vehicles look great.

The technician showed up on time. He was working on my vehicle for about 2.5-3 hours. The final result was AMAZING! It is a 5 year old minivan but I felt like I just bought a new vehicle. Really impressed! Some wear and tear he was not able to totally clean which is understandable but the overall experience was well worth it, I will definitely use them again.

I am very particular about my cars and Keith and Lyndse did the most amazing cleaning and detailing of a vehicle that I have ever seen. Couldn't believe how beautiful the vehicle look when they were finished. The van was cleaner and looked better than when it was new and delivered by the dealer. They take so much pride in their work and would not stop until every element of the vehicle was completed to their very high standards. I plan to use them to do two more cars within the next several months and plan to have them continue to do our vehicle on a annual or semi-annual basis based on the need. On the crew's arrival I Pointed out soiled pavement from their previous visit several months back. Thing is, did it again. Obvious was the armor all.

It went well. except for few stains that did not come out, the car looked like showroom clean.

They came to the house for the detail. It was a good service and it was a good deal that is why I have chosen it. I just paid the $175 Big Deal cost. It was excellent. They did a good job. I had to book it and then reschedule to book it. The guy showed up right on time. I would probably use their services in the future again.

Excellent experience. The provider responded immediately to my request placed on Angie's list. I was scheduled within 48 hours of my initial contact. The two person team came to my home at the appointed time, explained to me the service they would provide and got to work. After the job was completed they had me look over my car to make sure the car was completed to my satisfaction. The car was perfect!!! I would highly recommend them to my friends and neighbors and most certainly use them again.

It is hard for me to write this. I have only ever placed good reviews before and never a bad one. I thoroughly research everything before purchasing something, and this time I got it wrong. After reading all the glowing and not so glowing reviews, I tried to put the bad reviews into perspective and ultimately chose On The Spot to detail my husband's truck. This was a gift for Father's Day and it was definitely an extravagance for us. I knew the truck would not look new again, but I did expect that the things outlined on the $184 Showroom Detailing job would be done, and it wasn't. Let me say, it was not all bad. The owner was very pleasant when he returned my message promptly to discuss the price and what would be done. I did think the price for a small, 2-door pickup was high at $184 especially when a 4 door car would be a lot more work, but with what the Showroom Shine was supposed to include, I thought it must really be some kind of great job. Also, the guy who came to do the detailing job was very nice so I really feel bad writing this review. The truck did look better after the job than it did before, but it was definitely not worth $184. Maybe $50 at the most especially considering I spent almost 3 hours after he left finishing the job that was supposed to have been done by him. Actually, I didn't want to look like a total idiot for paying that much money for a poor job when the people I had bragged to about this great truck detailing job saw the actual results. I still have not told anyone about all the work I did to make it look like it did when they saw it, and if I had wanted to clean any part of that truck, I would have done it myself in the first place. Of note, the truck was also totally emptied before the detailer got here so he didn't have to work around anything. So what did I have to do? I removed bugs off the truck hood, fender, roof, and windshield. I am not sure what the clay thing advertised is supposed to do, but if it is supposed to remove dirt and bugs, it certainly left a lot. When he was done, the windows were totally foggy. He said he had cleaned them and the film on the windows was from the air freshener he used. I did request he do them again (they were supposed to be clean and streak-free according to the Showroom Shine), and he did do them again. However, I finished the windows after he left because only the center part of the windows were clean and the corners were still filmy. I cleaned the dirt off the inside panel of the driver door, the seatbelts buttons, and finished cleaning the dash and the door jams. Because I had cleaned these things with a cleaner, I had to re-Armor-All the inside. I don't know what the black rubber stuff around the windshield and windows is called, but they had not been cleaned or shined, so I cleaned and Armor-Alled those, which included cleaning the adjacent paint to those rubber areas. When I sat in the truck to clean the inside, the seats were still understandably wet, but because my pants soaked up dark water, possibly another pass with the machine would have soaked up the dirty water and made the seats look better. I had to sweep out the truck bed (why is the truck more expensive if the bed isn't even swept?). I cleaned the mud flaps, and touched up the hood of the truck where the spots and dirt had been left. I had a hard time with the front bumper because when cleaned it, it streaked and it was hard to get the front looking good because of that. I was told all the water spots on the truck body and windows could not be removed. I only put that here because I am not sure if a good detailing job would or would not have at least removed some of those spots. The detailer did call me out to the garage at the end of the job to show me two pieces of trim that broke off when he was cleaning the truck. He said that happens in older trucks and he told me what I needed to buy to fix it. I wasn't happy that I had to fix something that was never broken but if those parts supposedly break, I can't argue. I bought the adhesive but I ended up breaking one of the pieces trying to get it into place so now the truck has obvious damage that wasn't there to start. It is my fault that it broke, but I'm not entirely positive I should have been the one that needed to repair it in the first place. Again, the owner and the person who cleaned the truck were nice, and the truck looked better afterwards than it did before, but it was not nearly worth the amount of money spent nor did it look like it had received any Showroom Shine. I truly do not like to complain, and I certainly would have let some of it go unsaid, but the totality of everything just made it too much to explain away.

I contacted On the Spot Mobile Detailing at 4:30 p.m. and they were able to schedule an appointment for the next morning! The person who answered the phone was excellent and explaining the process and asking clarifying questions. Told me they'd be by between 9:00 and 10:00 a.m. the next morning and would call in advance. Sure enough, at 8:58 a.m. I got a call from Shawn/Sean letting me know that he'd be at my address by 9:30 a.m. He showed up and went right to work. When he was almost done, he called me to check it out and it was spotless! Best shape it's ever been in since I bought it. He explained what he'd done and we touched up a few spots (I notice even the most minute stuff). It took him 4 hours to clean my car that had never been professionally detailed since I bought it 12 years ago. He did a very thorough job and literally took out the seats and got in all the nooks and crevices. He was very professional and friendly and answered any questions I had. I would definitely use this service again and highly recommend On the Spot Mobile Detailing. They come to you and they do more than what they promise, what more could you ask for!

They did a great job! Came out right away and spent a few hours detailing the car. It looks awesome and hopefully I can sell the car now. They were friendly and professional.

On the Spot showed up as scheduled and got right to work. Two other employees joined after and hour or so and the three of them cleaned the interior seats and carpets, washed and waxed the car, buffed out some scrathes, cleaned the fogged headlights cleaned up the trim as well as "dressing" the tires.

These guys did a great job detailing my black Jeep Wrangler. Nothing better looking than a black vehicle with a good detailing job, and On The Spot delivered. They took care of imperfections in the paint, noticed some overspray from some prior work that was done on the vehicle. The wheels and tires looked fantastic after they were done and they were very detailed and thorough when cleaning the interior. I was very pleased with their performance and their professionalism. I will definitely use them again when I need more detailing work done. Thanks!

Best detail I've ever had... I told him not to worry about some calcium spots on the car and he put in an extra hour making it perfect. My 5 yr old car looks brand new!
