Shorted me at least one Panel. Stated that I would have a 75% reduction in my electrical bill. My monthly solar output devise has not worked in 15 months. I been trying to contact Chris for service at last 3 times a month , but he never calls back. My electrical bills are still high. I sure wish others better luck with this guy......I'm stuck

Did not install all the panel... shorted me one. Now and for the past year I been calling his office to get service and nobody calls me back. My solar power has not recorded anything in the last 15 months and I don't know how to fix it. There is no office .....no help. If only knows how I can get help. After a couple of delays Chris Solecki & his worker finally came out and repaired leak. A couple of weeks later the area he repaired started leaking again. I contacted Chris and my initial calls & texts were ignored. When he did finally get back to me he said he would fixing it on a Friday. He never showed. I informed him I had a pending home inspection on the upcoming Wed for my home sale. He said he would fix it before then....No show. I started contacting him again which went ignored. He finally texted me a few days later saying he had more back problems and rain delays and would get to it when he could. Now I understand FL weather and back problems, but what really bothers me is a business man not keeping his word and the disrespectful action of not contacting me to say he would not make it. Needless to say home inspector saw leak which I had to get fixed elsewhere. Another week has gone by and he still hasn't contacted me to say he'll fix it. If you think my complaint is unjustified, see his "F" BBB Rating and other customer complaints.

Had direct contact with owner, Chris, and then the sales staff. Installers Ben and Mike were courteous, professional, and seemed interested in dealing with the specific needs of my installation. The owner Chris returned after the install to check his crew's work and ensure my satisfaction. His office staff arranged both for permit and notarized notice of commencement -as I try not to drive-and final inspection and was very helpful in general. They seemed genuinely concerned not only that installation be well done, but that it met my energy needs year round.

We signed our contract with Advance Solar on August 29 of 2015, but the contractor didn't begin the install until October--on the wrong side of the roof. The install of the array wasn't completed until December, and then it failed inspection. Advance Solar repaired the array in January, and it passed inspection, but we weren't allowed to turn it on until our utility replaced our meter. Advance Solar offered practically no support through the application process, so it was March before that occurred, and we were actually able to turn on the solar panels. It is now April, and the install is still not complete--the monitor that allows us to measure the performance of the solar panels still does not work, and we have no idea when Advance Solar will repair it.
Advance Solar's customer service is a joke--it's difficult to even get someone from the company on the phone, much less schedule a service call. They have done just enough work that we haven't pursued legal action against them, but we have had to threaten it almost every step of the way.
Advance Solar is, without a doubt, the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life.

Solar contractor installed with piping that was too narrow which had to be replaced and redone after pool contractor's observation. This required additional nail holes in home exterior and roofing tiles, and created excessive operating (water-flow) noise inside the house. After numerous calls and a few visits, problem resolved by use of sound absorbing pads between piping and home exterior. During the process the solar contractor was not easy to contact or in his responses. Once the workers were assigned and arrived, however, they were cooperative in addressing the issues.

The initial salesmen was great, but further communication as been none existent. We were told someone would contact us the next day to set up installation, however no contact was made and a crew showed up two days later to spray the insulation. We were not given time to empty our attic and was told they could do the job with everything in place. This was a huge mistake. They completed what they could but there were holes left in the areas that they could not reach and under the boards of the attic. We empty the attic and found insulation in our christmas tree and other times that we're not boxed. We communicated that someone needed to come and redo the insulation. We have been waiting three weeks for them to come and fill in the holes. My husband had to call and schedule the other installations, since no one contacted us. The attic fan and heater work vent well.

Insulation and window tinting, solar attic vents, and pool pump upgrade were fine although on the expensive side.
Airco units were installed, although installer stated I should be replacing old a/c unit rather than purchasing what advanced solar recommended.
Chris the owner came out to placate me and assure me that all would be completed and get a payment for the work that had been performed (without instruction).
After paying them, I have not heard from them to complete the pool heat etc.

"We are glad that the overall installation was successful and Advance Solar was able to upgrade the efficiency of your home with a variety of our solar products. Although we found out through engineering because of the size and age of the existing AC system we could not use heat recovery as a pool heater. Our records show that we did not charge for the pool heater, however payment was received for the remainder of the project."

We had a heater before. The pipes that were used caused our roof to have to be replaced a little bit early. That company mounts the water heater on the roof in a different manner. We really think that the way this one is now mounted will protect our roof. We did have a couple people come to talk to us, but my husband seems to think that the way they put it together is much better for our roof.
