"Excellent! George and his guys were absolute professionals. Sod was installed perfectly with no gaps between the sod pieces. Plants really made the curb appeal of our property pop. Would definatly recommend C& L Landscape for all those landscaping needs."

"Just experienced Tinsler Landscaping for the first time...I'm in love! Not only are they affordable but they took the time to mow, trim and neaten my yard! Good-hearted and hard-working! I feel so fortunate that I have quality people looking after my property. I'm even planning on hiring them for mulching the perimeter of our house and pressure washing my concrete and roofs which they also do!"

Customers say: True professional

"I needed my fence removed, my yard graded, some rock piles cleared and a large dead tree taken down. I called Land Gator. Nathan told me to send a couple pics of the yard. He came over that afternoon, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. He showed up on Friday to do the work when promised. I was highly impressed with the level of work he did quickly and efficiently. I have other projects for him in the future. I highly recommend Land Gator for anyone looking for work done!"

Landscaping questions, answered by experts

Determining how many boulders you’ll need for your landscaping project depends on the area you need to cover and how big each boulder is. First, you’ll need to determine how big of an area you want covered, then divide that by the base surface area of the boulders. A landscape professional can help you determine how many boulders will be right for your project.

DIY home gardening can be relaxing, joyful, and cost-effective. From mowing your lawn to planting your own flower beds, there is a wide variety of gardening tasks that you can do yourself to make your yard look beautiful. If you’d rather spend your time not in the dirt, or if you’d like someone to take care of your plants for you, calling a professional gardening service is best. They can give you a workup of what services you’ll need and how often to schedule them.

Yes, many providers offer organic or eco-friendly treatments. Confirm availability with your contractor.

Yes, weeds can still grow in decomposed granite. If properly compacted, it can act as a good weed suppressant, meaning you’ll only pull weeds occasionally. But no ground cover is completely weed-proof. To further prevent weeds, you can try spraying your decomposed granite with distilled white vinegar.

Buying plants from a nursery is one thing, but ensuring that they are properly planted is another. While you might not need to hire a landscaper for every plant that you buy from a nursery, it’s a great idea to have their expertise and experience to plant larger items, like burlapped trees or specialty plants like rose bushes. Even better, before making a trip to a nursery to buy new plants, consult a local landscaper to test your soil for pH levels, soil texture, and phosphorus and potassium levels to help determine the best plants for your area.
