Jason was great! Picking an inspection company was scary, and I did a TON of research before landing on RSHI. We are FTB, born and raised out of state with no experience on what to look for in a Florida home and if it should alter the sale. Jason spent 2+ hours going through everything, answering our 101 questions along the way, and giving us a full 30min walk through together at the end. He was friendly enough to be trustworthy, but not so much that it wasn't professional. He explained everything in a way that demonstrated his knowledge of all things home, but still made sense to us. We paid $350 for a full inspection with 4-point and wind mit. There was a discount on this site that took the price down, usual price would be $425 for all. We received the report same day. I would recommend to anyone that asked. Even our realtors that were present for the inspection, and have their own list of favorite inspectors said they will be adding Jason to the list!

From the start, we knew we had a good inspector, Jason Rathmell. He was punctual, had a good attitude about the project and explained to us in great detail what he saw during the inspection. I cannot imagine a more thorough home inspection by anyone. After the walk-through to hear what Jason found, he later sent a report which included pictures for reference. We printed the report and used it with the sellers to get help in areas needed, i.e., new water heater. We also used the report once we moved in to solicit some contract work on the home's roof. Pictures help tell the story. We were quite pleased with the services and especially the company representative we worked with all along.

The inspection went well and our inspector (Jason) was very meticulous and professional. He notated every detail (even many minor details), which was very helpful in negotiations with the seller to repair a few vital items that needed correction. I would recommend this company to my friends, family and associates.

I dealt primarily with Karen and Lennie and both were extremely professional and helpful. I was in contact with Lennie several times after the inspection looking for opinions and explanations of some of there findings and he was more than happy to spend the time with me to make sure I was comfortable and understood the findings of their inspections. He always told me when we spoke "that's what we are here for..." Fantastic customer service. I would recommend Rock Solid to anyone needing home inspection services.

The kitchen faucet had been leaking for some time. When I began to place articles under the sink, they fell through to the floor. All of the bottom of the cabinet was rotted out and covered with white contact paper making it look nice. We turned on the faucet and water leaked out running under the sink which was also rotted out. We put a 2x4 under to prop it up. Additionally, the GAS stove did not function properly and had a GAS leak. The latch on the dishwasher was broken and the ice maker does not work. We had to have the stove repaired, a new gas line put in, all cabinets replaced as well as dishwasher, counter tops cost over $6000. We still must have the ice maker replaced. When first contacted they tried to act it had been too long between the inspection and our move -in. WE moved in the day after we closed. Second contact, they offered to return our inspection fee - how would that begin to cover the repair/replacement costs. Third contact they said something about purchasing back the home for "the purchase price." However, the kitchen would not be covered, nor the closing costs nor the movers, nor other expenses that go along with moving into a new home. No, I would not use Rock Solid again. If they missed obvious things like a leaky faucet, a GAS leak and broken appliances, what else did they miss?

I would not give them high ratings. I was not satisfied. I don't feel like they did their work 100 percent; they could have done better. The price was good, it was cheap so I guess you get what you pay for. They could have done their job a little more thoroughly. There were some aspects that weren't done that should have been on their checklist, so you live and learn.

The inspection went great. I called on a Friday morning and spoke to Lennie and explained that i had a limited number of days to get the inspection done on a home I am hoping to purchase. Lennie was able to schedule the inspection for the next day. He and his partner arrived promptly a the scheduled time and did a through inspection on the home. He reviewed each item and issue found and took the time to explain each in detail. He recommended a few solutions that for me would be a budget saver which was much appreciated. He had a full report in my hands later that evening. I would certainly recommend his services to anyone in need.
