After buying a house last summer and discovering several undisclosed roof leaks, I went through the hassle of trying to not only get a roofing company to come out to the house, but even get a phone call returned. Finally, I was given the number of Woodrow Cushing by an acquaintance who heard my complaints about not being able to find a reliable roofing company. Everything about my interactions with Woodrow and his crew was professional, and they always arrived and did what was promised. Proper expectations & timelines were set and followed through with, and their communication is spot-on. After trying to go the route of patching a few areas, which they did a great job with, we finally decided to put a new roof on. These guys were very responsive with all phases and did a fantastic job. The new roof looks great, and we no longer have the stress of worrying about roof leaks. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone needing quality roof work and with no run-around.

Superb workmanship, professional crew, sensitive to my needs. Returned ASAP when needed (only once), great cleanup after job completed.

The contractor estimated $6,800 then billed me 9,800. I wanted to pay him $8,800 and the rest after some investigation. Woody stopped work finishing up the roof, came to my home, got rude about the whole thing asking me if I could read and if I knew what an estimate is etc. He finally gave me a few hundred bucks off. The problem was that we didn't know how much rotten wood was up there. This is part my fault since I could have got up there with a tape measurer to see for myself. I know they did do some extra of work up there I just have my doubts it was that much extra. We factored in $2000 wood repair into the $6800.

On the positive side, Woody's final cost was less than the same as the lowest of several other estimates. The crew got started early, worked late and they got this big job knocked out punctually.

Also, because he told me I only had 4 years left on my insurance, the insurance company dropped me. My roof was put up in in 2005.

I had used them before and just like the first time they did a wonderful job. They were able to inspect the roofing problem and gave us an estimate with the work being done next day.

Woody returned my call the same day I contacted him. He was at my house to provide an estimate the following day. I was immediately impressed with his professionalism and his knowledge. He was not the lowest bidder, but my husband and I agreed he was the man we wanted for the job. Woody's honesty and integrity are equal to the quality of his work. Now that we have found him, we will always call on him for further roofing needs. We recommend him highly.

Since I hadn't heard from the other 2 companies that I left voice messages with I decided to go with Woody Cushing Roofing as I needed to get the leak fixed before it rained again. They checked out the roof, went into the attic to see that damage, knew what needed to be replaced, went and purchased the materail and did the repair job all within 2 hours. I would certainly call them again if needed and recommended to friends and neighbors.

Woody Cushing is very good, he knows what he is doing, he has been in business for a long time, he is insured, and licensed, and professional. He also re roofed a large storage shed to match the house when the shed was damaged by a storm.
