Tim Sowell Roofing INC

It  was a horrible experience. As I have already stated the job was messy, and they caused substantial damage to my home. They took off for the weekend, and they had taken shingles off of a portion of my roof but had not replaced them with the new ones, nor did they cover the unprotected area. My ceilings were ruined and stained due to the leaks. Mr. Sowell came out and brought some boy with him and tried to clean up the stains with pure bleach. The kitchen actually was falling in and the sheetrock needs to be repaired. The boy tried to climb on my expensive bedspread with his filthy shoes, but I stopped him. I ran around the house getting towels for him to stand on and pulled my bedspread back. I told him that the towels would not protect my bedding if that bleach leaked. Sure enough, my beautiful king size sheets that matched the color of my wall perfectly were ruined. The sheets were not cheap sheet either. The side of my house has a shingle that sticks out about 6 inches off the roof. The metal strip in the front of my house is bent and it looks so bad that it is noticeable to me, and I'm no expert on how to put a roof on a house. He left my yard a mess with nails all over and there were even nails on my driveway. I'm hoping that my daughter didn't run over one with her car because she has 2 small children and that is their family car All the cuts are uneven around the house and he didn't even use any flashing. I'm hoping that he used the right sized nails or I will not get the discount on my homeowners insurance I was counting on to reduce my mortgage payment. My suggestion is to use another company. I have no idea why they have received good ratings with BBB or Angie's list. Finally, he made a verbal agreement to put up gutters around my house, but once he realized he was going to be responsible for having my ceilings repainted he went back on his word and did not do the job we agreed upon. His word is no good. I asked him how long his crew had been working for him and he said over 10 years, but I heard through the community of roofers in this area that he has a brand new crew. I know they do not know what they are doing.The company I used (regrettably) was Tim Sowell Roofing Inc.

I really like them. They came out, did the work and they had guarantee. I still have some leaking so they were right out and adjusted it then it was fixed. They were really easy to work with. They just took on the appointment, for the estimate of the job and for the repair and I really like that. The two workers that came out were very polite, very careful coming in the house and they were respectful on our properties. I referred them to some of my friends.
