Threatened to have one employee removed by the Sheriffs office if he showed back up on my property. The only decent employee quit because he did not want to be associated with the work being done. Its been three years now and I had to have one of the A rated companies on Angie's list come out and replace and repair what The Groudskeeper did. Just horrible.

The absolute ores, unprofessional people that I have ever worked with. I even called the owner (Jeff Hendricks I believe) and he said that he would set up an appointment to meet with Rich and myself. NEVER HAPPENED! I have asked for a refund, I paid $2,200.00 and am far worse off than when they started! I'm still waiting for my refund. The Better Bureau will be hearing from me! I don't want this to happen to anyone else that is going through such grief. Jeff, I would love to hear from you!

We were not impress with the work done on the sod and the unresponsive phone calls, text, photos sent and emails.  Therefore, we did not contract for them to landscape the plant beds.   There is a process in "re-doing" a yard.  Groundskeeper had no such process.  When questioned about the job, they would just say "This is how it's normally done.  Don't worry, we will get the job done to your satisfaction".   What they really meant was to their satisfaction.  They came in and ripped things out with no regard to doing the job right.  On day one they broke the main water line. They proceeded to break the sprinkler line. They did not take any special time and effort to be meticulous in their job.   They laid the sod too low in certain areas and where there wasn't a flooding issue in our yard there is one now! The "new" sod is full of weeds! We have been trying to get them to fix the problems for the last 3 months and to no avail still no attempt has been made to rectify the problems.   Clearly we DID NOT get what we paid for. Our heart breaks every time we drive up and see where our hard earned money went and for them it's just another day at the office.  We have now requested another company to assess and/or fix the mess they have made on our yard.  I DO NOT recommend this company. Their lack of professionalism and pride in the service provided is a testament of this company's work ethic. It is truly sad when companies such as this go after the almighty dollar as oppose to character and integrity. If you are looking for a company that will stand by their work and have pride in their job, this is not the company for you.  It is clear that sub-par work is good enough for them.  For anyone to be proud to put their name on service such as this, and continually disregard your attempts to rectify the problem, is not a man of his word.

A job that should have taken three weeks according to the foreman named Rich, took 7 weeks. There were two kids on my property with no supervision most of that time. I started sending pictures the first week of poor workmanship. I found one of the two young men asleep on my back porch the third day into the job. The quality of the work preformed was terrible. The pavers were cut by an inexperienced person cutting stone and the edges of the pavers look like a kid hacked them up. Nothing is smooth. There are no smooth transitions in the curves of the walkway an patio. There are large gaps between cut stones that stand out. I took close to 100 pictures and a dozen or more videos and sent them to Jeff with no response from Jeff,. Only his foreman Rich. When I found out the kid that had been giving me trouble and that was asleep on my back porch was his nephew, I had to threaten law enforcement to physically remove him from my property. His work was horrible with an attitude. At that point Rich came to the job site to try and salvage the mess. The pavers still look like a high school kid came in and laid them and cut them. I do not know what I will have to do to get it corrected but what a mess. They used "Stone Dust" instead of sand between the pavers. I was sold on the idea that would be fine and it is not. I have a prodessional from Pav'r Construction coming to fill in all the gaps with the sand and seal the pavers. Mike from Pav'r said whoever did this was an amateur. The landscaping that was done in addition to the pavers was done poorly. Sod was laid on ntop of grass that has since died. the soil was not prepared properly to lay sod. The sod that was laid adjacent to the sidewalk and around the patio has died because their is no soil for the sod to grow into. The edges of the pavers were not concreted in place properly which would be tapered down from top to bottom. Grass was laid on top of stones and quickcrete as if it were going to grow. The sprinkler system that Groundskeeper was suppose to "Put back in the same working order as prior to the job starting" has not happened. I still have sprinklers that do not work at all. Thats no wonder since the demo that took place of removing the old concrete dug up a lot of the sprinkler system as well. These guys went as far as laying pavers over what was demo''d and did not check to see if any pipes were broken first. I checked myself by turning the sprinkler system on a weekend during the the job and found that water was gushing out from UNDERNEATH the pavers. i could go on and on. The Gorundskeeper is excellent at presentations but absolutely should not present themselves as professionals. They simply are not. If I could sue them i would.

I think it is reasonably priced. They are very quick, they have a good crew. They are reliable. The guy is named Jeff, sometimes he is hard to get hold of, but other than that I don't have any complaints. They charge a year round rate; in the winter, they come every other week and in the summer, they come every week. So it kind of evens out, I don't pay any more in the summer.
